Cont: The Russian Invasion of Ukraine part 9

Assuming that video is real (I still kind of hope it's some kind of super-convincing fake) and ignoring the Satsumoid Caecotroph's protozoan levels of logic, by far the most disturbing aspect is the implication that the lives of invaders, rapists and war criminals are more important than those of the thousands of often reluctant Ukrainian soldiers killed defending their country, or the families who perished in their own homes as a result of Russian policy.

EDIT: Having rewatched, I'll cling to the hope for now that it may have been Trump's inarticulate way of saying that the Russians won't want to return land that's cost them so many lives to sieze. But who knows?

"The home invaders worked hard smashing the door in and removing the valuables, and were bit before killing the family dog in self defense, so it's only fair they should get to keep all their ill-gotten gains, after all, the home owner shouldn't have ever started it in the first place."

The home owner should just have done a deal when they started smashing his front door. It wouldn't have happened if I'd been their neighbour.

I realise now I was wrong yesterday, because I had got their intentions entirely backwards. What a difference a day makes.

When I said Lavrov made no sense when he said this: "If Europe intends to continue the war in Ukraine, then what reason is there to invite them to the negotiations?" I wrongly imagined the negotiations were peace talks. Since it's now pretty clear they are actually negotiating Trump's fee for stabbing Ukraine in the back, Lavrov suddenly makes complete sense: If Europe won't be bought off, what's the point of their being at the bribery negotiations?

Oooh 1984 doublespeak. It's Zelensky that's a dictator now according to Trump.
I never thought a country founded on freedom from dictators could swing to autocracy supporter in so swift a manner. I assumed there would be *some* attempt to keep Trump grounded in the values of the US. At least the former values of the US

It was built right into the US from the start. Remember the country was built on the idea of "rule of the rich, by the rich and for the rich" not perishing from this Earth. It just took a bit longer than expected to devolve to brutal dictatorship.
