Cont: The Russian Invasion of Ukraine part 9

I'd just like to ask the moderate conservatives who claimed that I was starting at shadows when I said that Trump would, if anything, side with Russia in the Ukraine war whether they think that my gloomy assessment was actually that far of the mark.

The Republican Party has no spine left (either that or they're fully on board with siding with Russia) and will do whatever Trump and Musk tell them to do. It's a desperate and sad situation IMO.

There is literally no bar low enough that they can't slither under.

Weekend on Fox

BREAM: Given the cost that the Ukrainian people have paid, why would they not have a direct seat at the table?

WALTZ: President Trump is clear it needs to come to an end.

It seems Ukraine are the bad guys now.

Lots of outcry over Starmer saying Ukraine should be involved in peace negotiations and offering British troops to a multi- national peacekeeping force if the war ends.

I am a fascist warmonger for agreeing with him and not agreeing that only Trump and Putin can sort it out.

Ukraine have to do as they are told in the name of peace.

Today the Russian Trollmasters have told their 'patriot' shills and quislings that anyone who supports Ukraine should be told they are warmongers and to "go and fight on the front line rather than putting our sons at risk".

I think Ukraine can agree to those deals that Trump proposed, offer even more, 120% of rare earths etc, as long as help keeps coming. After all it will take so long for those mines to be running that Trump will be dead and gone by then, a sad, shameful chapter of the USA, and any deals forced by Trump under duress automatically disregarded and re-negotiated anyway...

Trump's idea that Ukraine must compensate the US for aid given (freely) in the past by handing over natural resources would alienate European countries which have given twice as much aid as the US (including financial and humanitarian in addition to military).

Not only that. Most of the money was spent in the US anyway.

I suppose Zelensky could talk to European leaders behind Trump´s back and explain the situation. Everyone understands that sometimes you have to give your lunch money to the bully and even promise him all your future lunch moneys. And when that future arrives, if the bully is there no more, nobody will remind you about the lunch moneys you owe, it´s understood that it was an unfair agreement so invalid.

So two hostile states are sitting down to discuss the carving up of Ukraine and the stealing of its resources.

It's time that Europe recognised that the USA is no longer an ally.

Reading the overwhelming number of replies to Starmer on Twitter it seems he's the bad guy for standing by Ukraine.

When did Ukraine become the bad guy? Sickening.

USA are part of the enemy now. They joined the Axis of Evil.

It's like one of those 19th Century Punch cartoons, with caricatures of the great powers standing around a large cake in the shape of some country, pondering just how to slice it up with their drawn sabres, while other national stereotypes look on in horror.

It's really, sickeningly like that.

If Donald gets what he wants from Ukraine it will be a higher share of their GDP than the reparations from Germany under the Treaty of Versailles.

I ask again, when did Ukraine become the bad guys?

Trump and Putin's peace plan would include new lections in Ukraine.

Got to get a puppet in somehow.

After a 3 hour humiliation session for Trump's team Russia laid the foundation to get everything they want.

The EU will not be at the upcoming negotiations on Ukraine. Its role is excluded says the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Also

“If Europe wants to contribute to the establishment of peace in Ukraine, it is necessary to stop arms supplies to Kyiv.”

Other outcomes

A consultation mechanism to restore embassy operations.

High-level teams to work on ending the war.

Plans for geopolitical and economic collaboration post-conflict.
