Yeah, getting shot in the head isn't lucky. It's just not. If there is a god, he clearly hates her and all the other victims, including the child.
God did not invent the gun. Science did....

.Everyone has that same friend upstairs. I heard about it on the radio and immediately prayed for those people. I'm sure millions across the world whom believe in God did the same.

.What do you think about this "person of interest" the cops are looking for? I don't know that much about his particular psychological malady, but it would seem odd that he had a partner in his paranoid delusion.
Could the old guy have put him up to it? Taken advantage of him? I'm confused about what role this 50 year old guy could play.
I thought the surveyor's mark had no ring about it.I can confirm that is what those are.
I just heard that the little girl killed was born on 9.11.2001
odd.
Coincidental.
Some random comments:
1. While the shooter may have had Mein Kampf & Das Kapital on his bookshelf I'd be more interested to know how often he'd read the books.
2. It's pretty clear that this guy's allegiance was to 'Queen Frag & the mighty nation of Hysteria' (apologies to Calvin & Hobbs), rather than to any conventional political party.
3. I'm hoping that none of the dead/injured got that way thanks to the 'helpful bystanders' opening fire.
The shooter has "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" on his list.dodging jail by being declared legally insane is by no means something good. There's cases in Sweden where persons are kept in mental instituions for decades or life for crimes that would've awarded them a few months in prison. That's because the psychiatrist aren't as formal as the legal experts.
I do it out of concern for my carbon footprint.Judging a person by the books is so pedestrian.

And you think that if their medical records had been public, they wouldn't have been able to get their hands on a shovel?Wild Cat is right. Dude is totally fruit loops. People's criminal records are public and I think its about time people's medical records become public.
Way too many crazies out there that are dangerous to other people. As a victim of violent crimes myself at the hand of a crazy person I can tell you that when you meet them face to face some are "good actors" at hiding their craziness.
When I was 17 a group of three 20yr olds tried to cut my head off with a shovel. Luckily they failed. All three had previous records of violent crime and had severe mental issues.

The "person of interest" has come forward and turns out to be the cab driver that drove him to the scene. The shooter was apparently concerned about getting his change back from the 20 dollar bill he pad the cabbie with. The cabbie isn't considered to be a suspect in the crime.
I associate the date with the '2012 mayan calendar scare' but it's just a hunch. As for the grammar, I've seen similar paranoia before but I don't know where it might come from.
I agree, actually it does not follow any logically coherent reasoning at all.
Again, my point is NOT that he faithfully carried out Glenn Beck's agenda. My point is that he seems to have gotten a lot of his twisted ideas from a source like Beck. It is therefore rather disingenuous to dismiss the possibility that, yes, this guy may actually also have been influenced by rhetoric hinting at violence against government representatives.
Feed a lunatic ideas about currency reform and what you get is some utterly incoherent theory about money. Tragic, but harmless. Feed a lunatic ideas about an oppressive unconstitutional government whose representatives should be targeted and that we may use 'second amendment' methods to 'take back the country' and you get something a lot less harmless.
Dear USEagle 13,
Please refrain from using the word "whom".
You do not know how to use it, so using the word "who" would work out better for you.
This is just a kind note from a retired high school English teacher.
Yours truly,

.......you may now return to the thread......please pardon the brief derail.....![]()
Good point. However, Palin et al has been contributing to the vitriolic rhetorics and she did use the worst graphic design imaginable for that homepage.ya gotta love the liberal media.
November 5th 2009 (islamic terrorist attack, Ft Hood texas): "Let's not rush to judgement"
January 9th 2011: "OMG, it's Sarah Palins fault!"
and who did you first think was at fault, on 9-11?
The ones who in the latter half of the 20th century, committed 99% of all suicide attacks.
