Breaking news! Truther Ignored by Senator!

Still would like you to name an example. There are numerous examples of successful hijackings, many even occurring after 9/11. Why did all these pilots give up their planes? You think they were cowards?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_hijackings

Actually, I found a couple examples in this list.

The vast majority, however, were successful.

The ones that weren't, like the FedEx guy, were the ones where the crew and/or passengers both a) had information leading them to believe that the hijacker(s) intended to crash the plane and b) were in a tactical position to overpower them.

Neither of these applied for three of the four flights on 9/11. The hijackers on 9/11 had the element of surprise and well-rehearsed roles, which gave them a tactical edge, and they didn't let on that they had no intention of landing the planes safely.

As if any of those pilots would have given up their planes to a couple of weaklings with one inch blades in the first place. Your belief in the official story is an insult to those pilots to begin with. I would dare you to come at me with a razor blade and demand control of a large aircraft with hundreds of lives on board. I mean that with all my heart. Never in a hundred years would you take my plane.

The official story is an insult.

Then how did the planes crash?

You mean in between his crying sessions? This guy overpowered an experienced flight crew, a guy who cried when asked to land?

LOL.

This is just funny that you believe this junk. He didn't just fly level. He navigated, descended and turned into a small target in an aircraft he had never flown. He was a scared, weak little man who was afraid to land. Those pilots just gave up that aircraft to this man... why? Because of his razor blade? Because he said he had a bomb? Nonsense. I'm surprised he was even picked as a patsy. That's the most unbelievable aspect.

Then who was flying the plane?

Nice English.

Anyway, is this a blanket policy? Just give up a plane regardless of the consequences? I doubt that. These men had razor blades or some-odd equivalent. A pilot, regardless of policy, has a code, a personal one. Ask one. You don't just give away your aircraft.

They didn't give away the aircraft, the terrorists took it from their dead hands.

You missed it, didn't you? Remote control. Seriously.

Someone still had to be at the remote so the question remains. If diving the planes into the building was the best and easiest thing to do then why wasn't it done?

No, you don't know that Hani did a damn thing on the aircraft that hit the Pentagon. You have no hard evidence for that, not even eyewitness testimony. You have a few frames of something flying into the Pentagon.

Did you catch the lady that thought the subway was exploding? What was that.... a computer monitor falling down the elevator shaft?

No, and try to keep up here, we have lot of evidence. We have phone calls from the plane saying it was take. We have the evidence from the flight school where Hani graduated. We have him getting on the aircraft. We've reconstructed much of the lives of the other hijackers who boarded the aircraft and determined that they weren't pilots. Now since the fact that plane was taken by hijackers is not in dispute (by anyone we need take seriously) we can say with a fair degree of certainty that Hani flew the aircraft.

No need to be redundant. Use that energy for some other purpose, like trimming your nose hairs.

The point was obvious: it was a very risky maneuver. On the contrary, he could have just aimed the plane down at the Pentagon, which is 30 acres from above.

You do realize that you don't know what you are talking about and you'll never effect anything right?

Guys, guys ... cut wee tempesta here some slack ;) ... he is way too young and immature to understand this, but there are different kinds of crying ... he has not yet gained the wisdom to see than for Hanjouir it was more FRUSTRATION at not being able to do fly as well as he wanted, than any inherant weakness ... tempesta is after all just a baby whose ideas about life, physics, flying, courage, what "black ops" are, etc, etc, etc ... come more from role-playing games ... than real world experience ...

Met the dolt before over at PF ... where his ignorance of some simple medical facts and teminology were equally glaring ... yet he had that youthful ignorant arrogance to think he "knew" better because the rules of debate were not adhered to to his satisfaction.

It is not whether facts, figures and real world science are demonstrated that count to such unfledged minds, but that the rules of grammar and debate are satisfied ... puerile, isn't it !!!

Happy New Year to you all, and here is a much-deserved wee dram for you all ... just not tempesta ... he's waaay too young to drink !!!

That would explain the level of immaturity displayed thus far. The fact of the matter is there was nothing especially skillful, courageous or intelligent about the terrorist who carried out the attacks, which is probably why they were chosen for the job, which was the equivalent of a sucker punch. Truthers can't seem to get their heads around that.

Hanjour was a coward? No kidding. They all were.

Ha! You're right: what you said makes no sense whatsoever. At least we've found our common ground. Phew.

A surgeon is someone deemed most likely to solve a crisis in the moment. If there were an ongoing structural failure then I would look to experts in that field to offer assistance in its repair. However, I would not rely 100% on the opinion of a so-called expert with regard to a controversial topic long after the fact. I would not count on an expert to publicize an extremely controversial opinion. It's actually simple economics. That's a subject you should check out. So much to learn there.

So if someone was unable to get to a surgeon for emergency treatment and died, on whom would you rely to find out how and why that person died? A trained, experienced pathologist, or your Aunt Minnie's favorite television "psychic"?

You seem to be saying that, in the case of 9/11, for the post-mortem findings we should rely on the "truth movement" (the equivalent of TV "psychics") because they are "independent thinkers," instead of engineering, construction, demolition and aviation experts (the equivalent of a trained, experienced pathologist) because...well, because why, exactly?

Slàinte mhath! Happy New Year.

That's because the FAA was in on it too.

I liked the 'he didn't like certain exercises' claim.
When I started flying we had to demonstrate spins and obviously recoveries and air restarts.
There are a lot of tin drivers who never get further than 'recovery from fully developed stalls with minimum loss of altitude'...

What points have you made?
A rough, top-of-the-head illustration of the complexity that any conspiracy of the type required to perpetuate the events of 9/11 would entail, for one. And rather than address any point or idea, you go on about my ego, or my writing style, or Dick Cheney didn't apologize for farting in an elevator, or things like...
Some people would think a bunch of undertrained, undereducated fools penetrating the world's greatest domestic defense infrastructure on the planet is impossible.
The above which, by the way, does nothing to suggest you are serious about this matter. No offense.
It's conjecture. They aren't points. You want me to demonstrate the how? Have you demonstrated the how? Have you demonstrated how a 9/11 conspiracy is "impossible"? No, you haven't, and you won't be able to.
Now, now. Such bluster really is pointless. I put forth a line of reasoning, and counted on you to follow. Was that a mistake?
There is nothing physically impossible about it. It would require immense planning and coordination, but it isn't impossible. Care to show us how it's impossible?
I feel I’m repeating myself, but fine.

100% impossible. That's just laughable. Even if you had good points they would all be overshadowed by the absurdity of your thinking you can completely exclude all possibility.

Possibility =/= probability.
