I can't see any news stories that would have made them all think Labour were in power through Covid and the lockdowns.

If it was down to me tnere'd be no second jobs, but MPs in careers that require professional practice to maintain their eligibility to practice should be allowed to put in the necessary hours for public service or charity operations. For barristers, arguably, randomly assigned clients could count.

Very few jobs require professional practice, some require CPD but I can't think of any that require you to be always working to retain your status.
