I was referring to when he blamed one of his antisematic tantrums on alchoholism. Even Southpark had a joke, saying that a woman who did a bad thing and claimed Alchoholism as an excuse went for the "Mel Gibson defense"I think he's a bit racist at heart (a bit more than some, a bit less than others), and I think he knows it as well. While a good actor and a gifted director, as a person he comes across in interviews etc as conflicted and disordered with views which appear more or less like classic US-Catholic conservatism (almost as bad as Kevin Sorbo's).
And as I said, a lot of those were actually extremely memorable moments that got critical acclaim - Roseanne included. And that's when the shows are usually at their cringiest. "ABC presents: A very special episode of Home Improvement..."
The episode where John Goodman's character goes to jail for beating Jackie's boyfried when he found out he was physcially abusive to her got highly praised.
As did the episode where Roseanne appologizes to her son for hitting him and confessing to him that she was an abused child.
As did the episode where Roseanne was furious her son didn't want to kiss a black girl.
Sometimes show get those right and sometimes they don't.
Actors come in all shapes, sizes and levels of acting.
For a moment I thought you were kidding... Then I checked his IMDB profile. But it's not just comedians. Charlie Sheen was Charlie on his show(s?) -- probably because he'd forget his whoring character's name. "Oh yeah, I'm me..."
WTF?
I don't think how much money she has matters. She obviously seeks attention and wants to be in the media - otherwise why bother with Twitter in the first place. She is worth about 80 million
I doubt she is too worried
If it starts to hit the low 10s of millions I'm sure she can get a reality show on some cable channel to document her day to day poverty stricken plight
And tonnes will watch
Criticism of racism against - and particular against blacks - seem extremely absurd from a fear of backlash for them.Oh, Disney will be just fine, but still it was not a good week for their image with one of their biggest franchises laying an egg and having to fire the star of a successful sitcom because of racism.
How would that work exactly?
We're boycotting ABC for having a racist actress spew garbage over Twitter. Heck, we'll boycott everything Disney puts out
Including Black Panther?
F$!@#$!@
