He does. That's what happens with stress, too many burgers and fries as well as a couple of heart bypasses. Which makes me wonder why Christie wanted to be President.

Well... in the 3rd century, there was a period when the average rule of a Roman emperor was at most a couple of years, after which they were killed in various, usually unpleasant ways. Yet there was never a shortage of new candidates for the throne. Some peoplewill always want the big prize, even if it kills them.

I love Elizabeth Warren. Too bad she isn't the nominee.

She's going to be a superstar in the senate possibly majority leader. The icing on the cake of Elizabeth Warren being an attack dog is that it gets Donald to go off on his two favorite subjects ethnic purity and attacking well educating women. How many tweets did his handlers delete during Michelle Obama's speech?

I would love to hear the whole story behind those DNC E Mail leaks. It smells a lot of Putin to me.

It's very telling, how the outrage is about source, and not content.

I personally find it difficult to restrain myself from ad hominem when the messenger is a racist, has committed various human rights violations and has been criticized by Amnesty International and other human rights organizations, is wanted for rape charges and is otherwise a horrible excuse for a human being.

I disagree strongly. What do you think the DNC does? It doesn't rig elections. What it does is work to put the strongest "Democrat" in position to win. That there was a belief that was Hillary Clinton as opposed to an avowed Socialist offered the best chance to win come November shouldn't come as a shock. There was never a secret that the DNC was supporting Hillary's candidacy. Hell, DWS owes everything to the Clintons.

I can see how that might make some people upset. I've worked on many elections and know what it's like to become really vested and lose. It ALWAYS feels unfair.

I'm not so sure.

From an outsiders perspective it appears something is rotten when your chairman resigns her post on just an allegation of impropriety. It's only speculation at this point that DNC staffers conspired to undermine Sanders. Not even sure if anything was done other than just talk. But something sure got their attention, and quickly.

I have a feeling we'll know more soon enough. :)

Just because you're not sure does not make it so. DWS resigning made a hell of a lot of sense. She resigned due to public perception and end the conversation.

DWS also wasn't popular as the DNC head. Poor midterm election performance and poor money management isn't a strong argument for her to defend herself with.

All great reasons. But something tells me she will land on her feet.

Interesting, Sanders nominated. Paul Feeney, union leader, seconds the nom while calling for unity.

Now delegate from Vermont is, I assume, about to nom Clinton. Nope, she second-seconded the Bern nom.

These guys are all pandering to the Sanders' supporters, clearly a planned moved. Sanders is all glowy. Crowd is shouting Hillary and Bernie. Hard to tell who's louder.

Now they are on to nominating Clinton. Guess that Vermont contingent nominating Clinton that was rumored didn't pan out.

You misunderstood.

Vermont will ask for vote by acclamation when their turn comes up during roll call vote.

Hillary did the exact same thing for Obama. Figure Bernie with the Vermont delegation asking for that very thing.
