Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.
ironically, most arguments people use in defense of homeschooling or anti-vax ("they are our kids and no government gets to tell us what to do with them) are suddenly invalid when it comes to abortion.
Thread continues from here.

This seems to be an interesting tactic, to counter the interference by some religious groups in medical decisions by the use of the same regulations that allow that interference. (They also campaign to have statues of Baphoment erected authorities have put up the 10 Commandments on state...
Two people getting together for unprotected sex know how babies are made and their method of birth control is abortion. I don't like that. There are many easy and effective methods of birth control that they could have used.
Abortion rate in England and Wales hits five-year high
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/may/17/abortion-rate-england-and-wales-five-year-high
The headline is the slight increase in overall numbers but I think the changing in patterns is the more interesting information. So older women...
Trump Addresses Anti-Abortion March for Life
Sorry for being AFK for so long. I have had a kidney transplant and am recovering in a slow and steady rush.
Back to the topic:
No president has ever attended the March for Life. Today, President Trump becomes the first.
“See you on Friday...Big...
Inspired by a recent thread in forum community, I wanted to make a place to discuss the idea of paper abortions.
The general argument seems to be that if women have the ability to unilaterally end a pregnancy by getting a medical abortion, then it is unfair that men may be financially...
So a relatively simple question with what is probably a nor so simple answer.
If you are a man and disagree with Abortion, can you express what you think gives you the right to dictate how a woman who is unrelated to you, and not in a relationship with you, should have to deal with her own...
MSN (and multiple other news sources):Alabama woman is charged with the manslaughter of her own unborn baby after she started a fight that led to her being shot and the fetus dying
:jaw-dropp
This is somewhat of a spinoff from the thread in US Politics discussing different state laws concerning abortion. I've long been concerned with what I perceive are inconsistent approaches among states concerning what is murder of a fetus. There are a few states in which it is perfectly legal to...
With Georgia about set to give women who get abortions the death penalty, Ohio requiring ectopic pregnancies be saved...somehow and Alabama deciding rape isn't a problem it is the sluts that claim rape happened that is the problem...well I'd like to say that all the Bernie Bros who said back in...
So I'm trying to debate this bill on Facebook and the Conservative Underground forum.
https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/senate-bill/130/text
So duh! If a child is born alive even if it is an abortion, they are not allowed to be killed for any reason. For example in WA, RCW...
On the 25th May voters in Ireland will go to the polls to decide whether or not to repeal the 8th Amendment to the Irish Constitution. The 8th Amendment is as follows...
"The State acknowledges the right to life of the unborn and, with due regard to the equal right to life of the mother...
I've never understood why fundamentalist Christians oppose abortion. They clearly DO NOT know scripture. The commandment doesn't say Thou shall not kill, it says Thou shall not murder. God orders the Jews to kill people for all kinds of offenses. A husband has a right to slay his bride if...
http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/03/politics/tim-murphy-abortion/index.html
So do we need to change it to abortion is OK when the life of the mother is at risk, rape, incest and when it is a law makers side piece?
http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/08/us/kentucky-abortion-bills-pass/index.html
Basically no abortion (unless life in danger) past 20 weeks, and forcing an examination to make the woman hear the heartbeat and see the embryo (although the law note the woman can "advert her eye" and ask the heartbeat...
In Ohio, the state legislature has passed a law banning abortions of any fetus that has a detectable heartbeat, and they've got another on the way banning abortions after 20 weeks (the latter presumably continuing as a backup to the first). The former law would pretty much completely ban...
Plunging numbers of Texas abortions: Are clinic closings behind decline?
It seems pretty obvious that the closings probably have something to do with it.
Kind of illustrates why who gets to fill the next Supreme Court vacancy is crucial. It's not just Texas.
Coat-Hanger Abortions in Tennessee
I feel like throwing up after reading this article. . . .
http://rhrealitycheck.org/article/2015/12/18/greatest-fear-come-pass-coat-hanger-abortions-tennessee/
Of course the #4%$# of Tennessee are going to charge her with murder
This just doesn't make sense to me. I get that lots of people don't like abortion and they are very much wrong and deserve to feel bad for being so wrong [insert Dr Zoidberg jpg]. But selling fetuses?
How did this ever seem reasonable to anyone with half a brain? Selling fetuses, cutting up...
Howdy.
I noticed today on my campus that there is a pro life club and picked up one of their brochures out of curiosity. The brochure and slightly longer booklet can be found here:
http://studentlifelink.ca/resources/print-resources/right-to-know/
Anyway, there was some thoughts I had about it...
I don't think this would be constitutional but you never know with the current composition of the Supreme Court:
Indiana Considers Banning Abortions for Down Syndrome and other reasons.
So in theory the woman still has a choice to have an abortion, but as soon as some sort of prenatal test...
Obviously, this plays into the abortion rights arguments, but as a man this is something I don't think I know much about.
For our mothers here, how would you describe your pregnancy? A minor imposition? A huge imposition? Painful? Brief? Unpleasant? Degrading? Anyhting else?
Did you feel like...

Christian activists gather enough support to launch bill banning abortion
Russia Today
Synopsis: Just what the headline says + several popular methods of contraception, too.
A new anti-abortion tactic, New to me anyway.
That is, organized spreading of disaffection among workers at family planning clinics.
http://www.attwn.org/about-us/what-we-do/
Anyone here encountered this before?
This might be better suited to SMMT but it's a political issue so I've started it here.
As part of their opposition to abortion groups in the United States have succeeded in requiring "counselling" for patients. Though controls on the groups providing such "counselling" this has become both a...
Dear All,
One of the premises of legalised abortion is that it reduces the number of unwanted children. Given that abortion is now legal, shouldn't that mean that the typical happiness level of children, perhaps everyone, is higher than it would be were abortion still illegal?
