Cooking?

Kumar, on what research are you basing your assertion that "gas formation and indigestion sensation is felt by a person in normal health from not fully riped or not fully cooked foods"?

And can you please be specific about what foods and cooking methods you believe are problematic and why?

On personal expriances & on observation of others. Normal or not normal health can be a question mark.

Let us take, Bread, Chapati vs. puree i.e. fried weat Chapati.

Bacon should never be steamed, boiled or baked.
I pity folks who've never had a good pot of beans or greens boiled with bacon. Sure, a proper ham hock (cured and smoked, not merely smoked pork hock) is a little better for that, but bacon is a close second and good substitute.

As already noted 'baking' works great. Thanks to the fat rendered by the heat, cooking bacon in an oven is essentially the same as frying it gently on a pan or griddle, with the benefit of cooking evenly. Hot spots are avoided by convective heat transfer from air, much slower than conductive transfer from a pan. Oven-cooked bacon curls less and requires less tending. Expelled juices and rendered fat burn less and separate better; the rendered fat is cleaner and keeps longer (you do keep your bacon grease for later cooking, don't you?). Expelled moisture evaporates more completely with less boiling so there's less splatter and the rendered fat is cleaner.

And the best reason of all to cook bacon in the oven: With a couple cookie sheets you can cook a whole mess o' bacon perfectly, in one go, with little fuss... so you can give its consumption the proper attention it deserves.

It can be boiled if served with boiled potatoes, broad beans and parsley sauce.

Yum :)

Mind you, we might be getting into the realm of the difference between bacon and ham and hock etc. To a Brit, ham is a vast chunk of rear-end of pig (rather than belly, back or side) that doesn't really resemble bacon except that they're both piggish.

"Bacon" only really means cured, dried and typically smoked pork. Any number of cuts can be used, though belly, side and loin are the most common.

I just had ceviche for lunch, not 20 minutes ago. Raw fish chemically cooked in lime juice and chilli. Proper cooking

I think I should had included processing also alart from cooking.

Anyway, as it look quite logical to me that not matured & not fully cooked/processed foods should put additional burden on body system ro properly digest it--so need to be checked. If you don't feel that it is valid then just forget.

Thanks for your contributions.
