Cooking?

Hello,

Simply I was trying to know, what is best cooking of foods more healthful & digestable to us?

I think fruits are fully matured food so do not need cooking.

When we boil or fry, it may be full cooking.

When we bake(eg. bread, chapati, biscuts) or take salads, I think these can't be justified as fully cooked and therefore need more acid in stomach to be fully justified.

Best wishes.

Roasting, Grilling (Radiant heat), steaming, poaching, hell depends on what you are cooking.

Hot smoking is particularly good for Fish and Meats, rendering them fully cooked.
You could cook them with excessive salt or acids or even fermentation and not apply any heat at all, are they being cooked for preservation or immediate consumption?

Do you mean by cooking render fit for consumption?, Preserving?, enhancing the palatability of the foodstuffs?, or cooking to extract greater degrees of nutrition from certain types of foods? (starchy foods spring to mind)

Depends on what you class as cooking and what you don't,
Smoked trout is fully cooked as far as I am concerned, so is a black pudding (although most cook it again weirdos).

Baked products might need more water to aid digestion, and Salads do go well with a nice vinaigrette, but these are taste and personal digestion preferences, I would rather add a tarka daal to my chapatti than acids

No, type 2 diabetes is not caused by baking and salads.

Have you ever eaten the fruit of the olive tree, raw?

Good point, though that's not 'cooking'.

It's rendering an inedible material edible. The same would go for many of our foods - without preparation (usually cooking) they're useless. Others would still be useful as food but more dangerous.

Justification for what?
taste, texture, nutrition?

I'd guess steaming, boiling and baking.

But I'll take a few carcinogens any day for the taste of seared meat...

Thanks.

When we say personal digestion, it may also mean than digestion status/type of an individual. Hence individulity consideration comes on this issue.

Suppose for example, a person is acidic, he may be able to digest half cooked or even not cooked foods whereas a person prone to less acidic in stomach, he may not be able to do that and should like fully cooked & fully matured/riped fruits. Former may need to put less efforts for digestion whereas later one need more efforts to digest. Instead of acidic, you may also consider many GUT juices ond motality.

Btw, how normal and abnormal digestion in any person can be evalued?

No, type 2 diabetes is not caused by baking and salads.

Yes not directly. But if any food is improperly cooked/matured, it may cause some abnormality in GUT and in which may cause undue load on our defence mechanism. Few theories (Dibetes start in intestines) suggest that it may be a reason to getting IR/type2.;)

Justification for what?
taste, texture, nutrition?

Sorry I meant, Need more acid to be fully digested. You can also take as, need more efforts by GUT to be fully justified as acid is not the only biochemical needed for proper digestion.

BTW, how it can be evalued that any food's maturation or cooking is normal for a person with normal health?

Few people like to take out of, not cooked, half cooked or fully cooked foods. Few may feel better on taking fried foods other just half cooked--bread, steamed, salads(non-fruit based eg cucumber, raddish, carrot etc.). I think people who are lesser acidic may like fully riped fruits and fully cooked foods whereas other no & half cooked. ??

Sorry, you can take it as, normal healthful and digestible to us.

Then the answer is "anything that cooks it to the degree that that particular food needs to be cooked". If you're talking about lettuce, then it doesn't need any cooking. If you're talking about chicken, then it needs thorough cooking.

Perhaps you should be more specific about what particular foods and what particular methods of cooking you think are problematic, and why.
