The Opening Ceremonies won't just me my favorite part of the Olympics, it will be a belated birthday present.

In order to reconsider your beliefs a little more thoroughly, I would request that first you read this poem by Shel Silverstein, and then go over your transcripts of you speaking to the person you thought was channeling the Holy Spirit with this poem in mind.

I think you should read post #2489, which contains that admission and an apology. And I think we should all recognise PC's integrity in admitting he was wrong.

Good for you. I stand corrected, I did not believe you would be honest enough to say that you were wrong. Kudos to you.

Please take this as a first step in realising how easily you can deceive yourself, to the point of being absolutely sure. A good start might be to look at your own calculations and conclusions as if they were someone else's. Imagine that you think they might be wrong, and how you would find out whether they are.
