Wednesday, 2012-07-25, has now passed the US. It is Thursday, 07-26, across the US: 7:15am in New York City, 4:15am in Los Angeles, and 1:15am in Honolulu.

The prophecies of the Holy Spirit that the world war which will start from the trouble in the Philippines will occur on a Wednesday and that the 2012 Olympic Games in London will not be held, failed to materialize. Even though the Games will officially open tomorrow, 07-27, I cannot move the goal posts anymore because 07-25 is the last Wednesday for the month of July.

I would like to apologize to all of you. I am deeply sorry. I will refrain from discussing prophecies anymore and be tight-lipped on this. I will reconsider my belief that the Holy Spirit who we are talking to is the true Holy Spirit and so is my belief that Ka Apaz’ physical body is appropriated by this spirit. As I used to say, if we were to believe in a god, we have to be sure that He is the only true God. As God, He must be omniscient. That means, He knows the past, the present, and the future.
 
Hey now, be fair guys; to the best of my knowledge, this is the first time ANYONE who came here with a prophecy of doom and gloom has apologized and acknowledged that their belief was incorrect. Give PC his props for that; I don't know of anyone who's come here with a prophecy that's done that once it was proven incorrect.

PC, I honestly hope you find what you're looking for, but it would appear this Ka Apaz woman is not it. Maybe you should try looking elsewhere for whatever it is you're seeking. Good luck.

People may check my studies by using the Holy Bible but it will not be complete. In proving the dates, the Holy Bible was not my only reference although it was my main one.

I used the accounts of the first century historian, Flavius Josephus. I used what I learned about calendars in my participation in the CALNDR-L discussion lists, and calendar converters. I read about Jewish traditions and about eclipses compiled by NASA. These are primarily the tools I used to determine whether the dates are correct or not.

I have been following this thread without comment because there has been more than enough said. I hope you take so time to reconsider everything that has happened to you and that you learn something positive about yourself from this experience. I also hope you don't judge your fellow humans, here and elsewhere, too harshly. We all have our shortcomings.

I second this. PC manned up and acknowledged his error, and that deserves recognition; it's a very rare occurrence.

This, I do not understand. What is there to "reconsider"? The prophecy was a complete and total failure. 100% wrong. No 200,000,000 Chinese soldiers. No nukes raining from the sky. No billions dying in agony. And no free real estate for survivors.

Ka Apaz is a fake. She is not the reincarnation of anyone. She does not channel the spirit of Teh Holy SpookTM, an Egyptian princess, Joan of Arc, or even Jack Benny.

I understand that it can be wrenching to surrender a belief system that one has held for many years. But you should consider this as an opportunity to break free into the real world, where people can choose to base their decisions on evidence and logical thinking, rather than on fairy tales and performance art. Welcome to Day 1 of a new life!

You realize you haven't even falsified this? Your Holy Shmoly might have just lied. If it makes you feel better, you might believe that it lied for a greater purpose. Like our amusement. Doesn't really matter.

What would matter is that after apologizing, you sit back for a while and think about what methodology and which basic assumptions would save you from such blunders.

ETA: Yeah, kudos by the way for owning up.
