Bigfoot: The Invisible Variety

Berkeley earned the name "Bezerkeley" due to the Bigfoot studies that occured there, also in the 60's.

Can you even document that? If that's true, it won't require anyone else's testimony, and it should be well documented, so you won't be able to claim any cover ups or denial, etc.

Or is every other word out of your keyboard a lie?

And how long will the JREF put up with a blatant liar?

Your bigfoot does not exist.

Apparently President Theodore Roosevelt disagrees with you, and agrees with me. Sorry. This just completely slipped my mind since you boys were focusing on Carter.

SORRY TO COMPLETELY RUIN YOUR DAY! You wanted prooof, so NOW YOU HAVE IT. I guess this means that there will be no more whining, no more stupid demands, no more stupid questions, no more mind games, no more impossible requests and of course, no more DENIAL.

Historian: Tell me why I should believe you. Aside from your word. Make me a believer with hard evidence that I can check on my own.

Why should I believe your claims?

I note a contradiction in the two accounts. Roosevelt says that he is recounting a "goblin story" told to him by a hunter named Bauman; he does not claim to have encountered bigfoot himself. The Pravda account says Roosevelt saw a bigfoot. And, of course if he did see it, it couldn't have been invisible. The Wilderness Hunter book is available in a Modern Library edition, by the way; we have it in our library. It was published in the 1890s; the Pravda story claims, with no details, that Roosevelt saw his bigfoot in the early 20th century.

And the scholarship that supported Dr. Stephen Hawking during 1974-1975 was not available to anyone studying at Berkeley. It was only extended to scholars working at Caltech.

great story hist he makes you feel the fear . If your sceard say your sceard come on down to the swamp and find one for yourself I promise you wont leave disapointed .

Sorry, no dice. I deny that Pravda is a reliable source, and I deny that Theodore Roosevelt saw a sasquatch, though he seems to have had a talent for tales. You must walk a tenuous tightrope indeed if that's the kind of stuff that could ruin a day in your world. It doesn't even come close in mine.

But thanks for the links anyway. I enjoyed the story, and the scantily clad girls on the Pravda page were quite nice (and good on them for trying to save the earth with their abundant charms. I'm sure the invisible bigfeet will love them for it).

I sell homemade bigfoot calling systems, similar to my own, with one power strike and one alleged male howl, for $2000 a pop. Which includes 4 speakers. Buyers use at their own risk. No instructions are included.

Dear lord, is this was bigfoot research has become - nothing more than another internet get-rich-quick scheme? Creekfreak only cares about selling his photo, Historian his "calling system", Moneymaker had (has?) for-hire bigfoot expeditions into the outback. In fact, many of the hits I get via google are related to people trying to sell their bigfoot secrets.

I'd say it all sounds suspiciously like Amway, but I don't want to insult Amway.

So what can you tell us about this device? Does it run on batteries? What type of speakers? How large? How heavy?

You say "alleged male howl"; you mean you charge $2k and can not even confirm it is a real sound?

Since you didn't address the other issues, I assume you've conceded those points?

All bigfoot howls are alleged because no one has witnessed a bigfoot howling. They can also howl while invisible. This howl is field proven and has obtained returned calls by myself that were very similar, on more than one occasion. I estimate the probability of it being authentic at 100%. This one is also available on the internet and in the public domain, but I am not telling you which one it is. I have cleaned it up a bit, but others have cleaned it up as well. Yep, system runs on a 12V battery. Yep, it's portable but I usually set the speakers on the roof of my vehicle. Total weight, probably 30 lbs. Speaker type is top secret at this time, but their gooooood! So authentic that it may scare the pants off of you the first time that you hear it. Good enough to sometimes draw incoming rounds from other campers with guns, so you pick your spots carefully. If you get shot, thats your fault. Total wattage is 400 watts RMS. Range about 600 yards through woods or several miles in the open. Instructions will be added for road farming, which was apparently my invention. So authentic, that I caused one Bigfoot to materialize on a road about 40 yards away, and walk directly toward me for about 20 yards, in the pitch blackness. Does not come with a battery charger, which requires the typical auto battery charger. I have gone through the field testing and fine tuning of the system. No one else has one exactly like it. Comes with camo backpack for carrying battery, amp and wiring. All components are available on the free market, as are replacement parts. I just assemble them into one kickass calling system. Can be adapted to playing music to entertain the Bigfoot, which they seem to enjoy. Use of this system, may be hazardous to your health. I have no way of controlling the conditions in which it is used. I have never suffered any permanent injury from using this system. I normally remain adjacent to my vehicle, for my own safety. It normally works best at night. It is fairly ineffective when used during the daytime. Don't count on proving that bigfoot is real for JREF, because they are invisible.

I have never seen anyone selling their bigfoot secrets on google. Why don't you prove your claim, so we can all see whether you are lieing or not?

President Roosevelt, apparently wrote a book about it. So your denial is futile.

Just one more of those Bigfoot things. I do have a "power strike" recorded however, from about 600 yards out. As named by Bob Gimlin, it is when a Bigfoot snaps off a 3 or 4 inch diameter limb off of a tree and the vibration goes up and down the trunk causing it to act like a speaker system.

dumb and dumber...

Holy ****!!!! That's a lot of cash to pay for a weatherproof stereo system and a couple of recordings. What's to stop people from downloading someone else's Bigfoot call recordings off the web and making their own "Bigfoot Calling System?" I've got a water-resistant pool-deck stereo here, and if I throw in two more speakers and use somebody else's Bigfoot call recordings for free, I'm set. What's so special about your preinstalled Bigfoot calls and your stereo system that it's worth $2,000?

(Competitive Bigfoot Baiters, take note. Historian's answers here may increase your odds of having an angry encounter with Bigfoot. You might want to invest in his system or build your own :eye-poppi )

And Creek? Yah, the money's not in the pictures anyway. Gotta copyright that ar Bigfoot Boat of yours and start selling people their own Bigfoot Boats and equipment.

All that proves is that an animal that you can't identify is making a noise and that other animals like it respond to it. Your inability to tell what animal is making the noise does not make it the work of Bigfoot.

Those interested about supposed "Bigfoot vocalizations" should check out these two posts. They include noises that're perfect for homemade "Bigfoot calling systems"...

President Roosevelt, apparently wrote a book about it. So your denial is futile.

Well, he mentioned that "goblin-story" in one of his books, but that's not the same as writing a book about it. The bit about the "four fang marks" kills me and are what really gives the story away as a work of fiction. Due to years of vampire stories (and movies) giving us two clean puncture marks on the victim's neck, many forget that such marks are highly unrealistic; biting someone's neck hard enough to leave such marks would also leave marks from the other teeth. The monster in the story would need four goofy-looking "tusks" in order to make four fang marks without any other teethmarks showing. This is not a standard feature for Bigfoot sightings reports...

Hah - yer funny! I don't need google, old man, I have two cases right here at JREF (and a 3rd developing)! So, you and creek peddling your wares aren't enough for you? How 'bout this from your good buddy - one of the first hits I get on google and a blatant attempt to cash in on bigfoot:
http://www.beckjord.com/bigfoot/

Or how 'bout the dozens of conferences designed to lighten the wallets of attendees and line those of the organizers? Or, do you think this is purely a cost-recovery exercise? How about the DVDs they sell and the auctions of "memorabilia"?

BTW - I never said people sell stuff "on" google. I said I get the hits "via" google. But, I'm sure bigfoot google ads are on the way.

I have no problem with you wanting to sell stuff - I'm as capitalist as the next guy. But I do have a problem with your offering a product with no instructions and no proven efficacy. I wonder if you could be sued for fraud? How many of these systems have you sold?
