Bigfoot: The Invisible Variety

1. tracks that end in snow
2. tracks that begin in snow

4. why they can't get trailcam photos
5. why their stakeouts fail
6. why bigfoot outsmarts them are everything that they attempt

1 & 2 = fake tracks
3 = never heard that before
4,5,6 = bigfoot is a myth

Wow. I just finished reading through all 20 pages of this thread over the past three days and let me say this has been one of the most entertaining things I've seen on any message board, anywhere.

Ultimate respect to those that went out of their way to independently shoot down Historian's arguments. I'm stunned that anyone could keep it up as long as Historian has.

she was a student thats all I know but she did say everybody knew about it on campus . I wont say who it is I will not bring her to this fray with you people . I just had a chance to open this thread yesterday in case you havent noticed you guys have been keeping me busy .

Just catching up on old stuff....

So you heard this story from someone that was a student there in the 70s, that claims that "everybody knew about it on campus"? To think the major news networks, science journals, museums (such as the Smithsonian Institute), etc. all missed this event?

Were are the “I was there when Bigfoot escaped” books, first hand accounts from people…heck, even a memorial plaque that says “on this spot we had a Bigfoot, but it escaped”?

Other then your memory and second hand claim, do you have any supporting evidence/proof that you can share?

Now that's solved - there are no Bigfoot in Hawaii - it's all Hokulele and her husband.

Hokulele? - you don't do crop circles as well, do you?

OOPS! Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that......

Neal V. Burgstahler addresses Creekfreaks claims ((aka, Neal Burgstahler, aka Mr. Burgstahler Sir, aka bigfootmagnet, aka silvereagle, aka historian (because his historical recollection is so gosh darn good regarding details that most people never paid attention to, to begin with)). As a cutting edge researcher of interdimensional people of all shapes and sizes, he has confirmed that Bigfoot is interdimensional, he determined that Bigfoot use orbs for reconnaissance of man, he confirmed that Bigfoot is highly telepathic, he confirmed that bigfoot often understands English, he determined that Bigfoot can perform complicated tasks on request, he confirmed that Bigfoot are benevolent, he has estimated that there are millions of Bigfoot and other interdimensional people in the US, he has some super paranormal photographs, he is a 3-time International Bigfoot Society speaker, he is a 1-time radio show interviewee and he is the first person to informally demonstrate "Double Call Shot Squatching", whereby he "called the shot" of simultaneously calling in two bigfoot to two specific locations, in front of witnesses. Those witnesses today, are in denial because they were either had prediagnosed hearing loss or because it is not in the BFRO's best interests to admit that a non-BFRO person could accomplish the aforementioned feat of experience. BFRO is No.1 in BFRO's mind. There is no No.2.

Mr. Burgstahler's best historical recollection of the aforementioned comments:
No Bigfoot was every held in captivity at UC Berkeley. Virtually every professor on campus, and most students in the mid-70's, were well aware however of the Bigfoot held in captivity in neighboring Livermore National Laboratories at some time prior to that date. As recently as 1988, travelling UC Berkeley professors were still starting out their presentations, with the informative statement that "Bigfoot is real". Which was standard but unwritten Berkeley policy. Stephen Hawking has included similar statements, in his talks.

Today, the true Bigfoot knowledge has very nearly died out. Most researchers today believe that the Bigfoot are dumb 24/7 flesh and blood animals, but cannot seem to satisfactorily explain:
1. tracks that end in snow
2. tracks that begin in snow
3. bigfoot sightings in Hawaii
4. why they can't get trailcam photos
5. why their stakeouts fail
6. why bigfoot outsmarts them are everything that they attempt

So they just forget about these important details, because it is not convenient to recall them.

Most skeptics on the other hand, have never spent a night by themselves in the remote woods, and thus are completely unqualified to participate in any meaningful discussion, in this thread. But they are not going to let their own lack of qualifications, get in the way of voicing their highly uninformed and biased opinions. Which then inevitably leads to garbage conclusions based on the aforementioned biased opinions. 1st amendment protection for free speech, but it can't protect you from making a complete fool out of yourself.
OK, now let me have it!

Do you have any evidence of this? Video, transcript, other witnesses, a date & location on where he said this? Certianly, of all the people that have attended his lectures/talks there would be SOMEONE else on the planet that would recall such an event.

As to the rest of your post...I honestly do not know where to begin but I'll give it a shot.

I know it is a silly question to ask...it just seems that most researchers actually provide their work/results for things like peer review so others can confirm their findings.

Hi Historian,

I'd just like to share with you a snippet from the Wikipedia article on the "Scientific Method".

Start Quote:
Among other facets shared by the various fields of inquiry is the conviction that the process must be objective to reduce a biased interpretation of the results.
Another basic expectation is to document, archive and share all data and methodology so it is available for careful scrutiny by other scientists, thereby allowing other researchers the opportunity to verify results by attempting to reproduce them.
This practice, called full disclosure, also allows statistical measures of the reliability of these data to be established.
End Quote.

Remember: Objectivity. Document & share.

Now the JREF is stacked with scientist of all sorts, and I'm sure they're poised anxiously waiting - with bated breath - for you to actually do what Locknar suggests?

If you're planning to keep on refusing to do this, then just what are you expecting to achieve here?

My apologies - I guess you're not a scientist yourself.......

Crop circles are soooo last decade. We are now working on a plan to turn portions of the banana and papaya crop blue with magenta polka-dots. Keep an eye on news reports out of Hawaii beginning sometime in March.

You know, if Jimmy Carter had given a press conference about the paranormal Bigfoot, you'd think he would have invited the press...and especially the national news magazines. My thanks to a group of 22 Research Methods students who helped me read through bound, dusty issues of TIME Magazine:......

This is how Spektator provides strong circumstantial evidence that he is a fraud. Fraud is deliberate misrepresentation of material facts. Spektator seeks to imply that I had stated at any time, that Carter had given a press conference about the paranormal bigfoot. Since I never wrote nor stated that, that appears to make Spektator a FRAUD.

My best recollection of the TV broadcasted event, (not necessarily a magazine or newspaper event) was that Carter essentially made an unsolicited off the cuff remark that "Bigfoot is real" and that "they are paranormal people". He said nothing further on the subject. He then continued answering questions from the media. Most of the questions were likely about either is new found retirement status and/or the freed hostages. At no time did I state that the event was a press conference about the paranormal Bigfoot. Therefore, Spektator is a FRAUD, by misrepresentation. All those seeking to slap him on the back and give him some "attaboys", then appear to be aiding and abetting a FRAUDULENT POSTER.

Spektator failed to either prove or qualify his failed research. Spektator also fails to even consider that magazines have EDITORS who decide what gets printed and what doesn't. Apparently, the thought never crossed his mind that an EDITOR would likely have EDITED OUT any comments in regard to bigfoot. After all, a lot of people seek to discriminate against those who even mention bigfoot, much less support the claim that they are real. Carter at that time, has just become a former President of the United States. I cannot imagine that there were many EDITORS at the time, who would attempt to burn a scarlet letter into Carter's forehead, for acknowledging the bigfoot's existence.

In conclusion, Spektator provides strong circumstantial evidence that he himself is a FRAUD, and he furthermore completely fails to prove that he did any research whatsoever. He expects us to actually take his word for something, when he hides behind a fake name and fails to give any hint as to his job, location, or who his boss is so that we can tell him how he wastes valuable company time by cruising internet chat rooms. What goes around, comes around. Eh, Spektator?

So Locknar, kindly provide evidence that you have polled everyone else on the planet, as to whether they heard Carter speak about bigfoot. Since you can't, you are providing evidence here that you are a FRAUD.

You are absolutely right Locknar, it is a silly question. Exactly how would anyone go about proving that something quite intelligent and in the wild, is normally invisible? Pictures? Now, that would be a silly answer now wouldn't it? Or how about an AUDIO recording? That would be another silly answer since audio recordings don't prove invisibility. So where does that leave us. You want something posted on the internet that proves invisibility, while people like Spektator thinks that he can fabricate postings that disprove invisibility.

What we have here is an IMPOSSIBILITY, given your restrictions. An impossible to perform contract, is IMPRACTICABLE and his VOID from the outset. So your DEMANDS are VOID from the outset. By demanding the impossible, and taunting me for failing to provide the impossible, MAKES YOU A FRAUD, because you are misrepresenting that the impossible is possible.

Conclusion: Locknar joins the ranks with Spektator, as yet another FRAUDULENT poster, through misrepresentation.

END OF STORY!

Hey Spektator - "attaboy!"

I dunno....former President, who'd reported a UFO sighting and a killer bunny, talking about Bigfoot...you gotta think someone, somewhere would have reported on it; say that staunch Republican looking ot embarrass Carter & the Democrats as nuts? Just to big of a story for NOBODY to report on it.

Did you see him admit this live in person, on TV, read out it in the local paper, etc? You don't find it odd that out of everyone on the planet, only you (Historian) seem to recall this?

Being a former President, I'm thinking worry about being discriminated against is pretty darn low on Carters list of things he worries about.

That is a false argument; all you have to do is provide some sort of reference that supports YOUR claim. You can not, because it did not happen.

Yes...science, and the scientific method, can be a cruel Mistress; what was I thinking, trying to inject provable fact into the discussion. Can you forgive me?

By all means...your made up, no control, no documentation, you said it thus it must be true no support/references needed method is far better.

Conclusion: Locknar joins the ranks with Spektator, as yet another FRAUDULENT poster, through misrepresentation.
All right! High-fives for all!

We found no evidence that Jimmy Carter called a press conference in Plains, Georgia, at all during that time period. The students enjoyed that exercise--"That was more fun that we normally have." I've set some of them to examining back issues of local and state newspapers for any notice--any at all--that former President Carter had a press conference in Plains, Georgia, between January 20 and March 1, 1981.* And, as Locnar suggested, surely media that reported Carter's UFO sighting and an attack by a "swamp rabbit" on the President (in fact, that's why I posed that as a control question) wouldn't be too hesitant to report on his mentioning a Bigfoot sighting and the assertion that Bigfoot is real and paranormal.

*Any student who can turn in evidence that he did will receive bonus points. They will try hard.
