[Moderated]175 did NOT hit the South tower.

Here's a little experiment for you. Drive your car into a corrugated steel wall at 200+ mph and if it goes through the wall, you win the bet.

How about a sedan going 100mph hitting a brick wall? Happened last night on the DC News. The car made it part of the way into a guest bedroom.

Perhaps it was adapted from "The food ... it burns" which occurs in the 1957 Sci-Fi film "Quatermass 2":

"But the most revolting sequence occurs early on when Broadhead
stumbles from the food plant leaving a trail of blood and burning
flesh as he gasps his last - 'The food...it burns'. It's a truly unsettling
scene, and probably harder to watch because of the black and white
photography."

Isn't it from "The Simpsons"? (Which is more than likely a parody of the above anyway)

...And here's a dessert recipe:

Conspiracy Idiot Induced Stress Eliminating Tonic

1 small glass
1 bottle Islay or Speyside cask-strength single malt
1 comfy chair
1 JREFer

Kick out neighbors and lock doors. Preset stereo to comfortable level. Remove single malt from its hiding place. Pour a wee dram into the small glass. Place JREFer in the comfy chair and gently apply the single malt. Recipe may be doubled, trebled, or multiplied further if desired.
That sounds quite effective. In fact, I might try that.

Wow, I just realized what the above implies: bullets, weighing only a few ounces, can't possibly penetrate or shatter hard human bones.

This is outstanding news, since it means bullet-proof vests are no longer required.

Not to mention that the bullet is mere lead, a very soft metal. I mean really, I can dent lead with my finger nail how can it do me harm?

Actually if you get that car doing 500 MPH it will indeed pentrate that wall with little problem, and the peices of it that go through will have enough momentum left to do still more damage. It will also not look a lot like a car any more but then that is really not too consequential is it.

um, Malcom, you seem to have forgotten tat you made much of supposed pedophile connections to 9/11. will you be getting to that sometime soon? Myself and several others have asked you just what the H this has to do with the topic at hand.
I went through every point in your OP, as has JImBenArm, and you have ignored those comments and questions.

In fairness (ha!) to him, I think he went night-night.

Take your time with your hijack scenarios. I'll be back tomorrow night to shoot them all down in flames.

I'm sure you will. In the meantime maybe you can tell us how these two people of yours managed to pull a thousand-man job.

Here you go, now, making it seem as though you knew what you were talking about.

Not as much damage as the wall would do to the car.

Precisely, which is why the planes were DESTROYED and the towers DAMAGED.

Precisely my point.
I said they weren't commercial planes. I said they were ex-military. After 15 posts, I'll show you a photo of one.

No living human can be this stupid. We are dealing with a p-dope sock, or a sock of one of the other prominent dunces.

Almost six years after the jihadist attacks, we are supposed to accept that someone will show up on the JREF having read ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on the subject.

Maybe he intends to show us the "pods" on the "military plane"?

This guy cannot possibly be serious.

Malcolm:

Please don't go away. We haven't had a poster so consistently and profoundly wrong in so many ways, in a long time. It was becoming a little boring here until you posted your mistruths and lies.

Stick around, entertain us.

Morphed = faked.
Faked phone calls = faked hijacks.
I'll tell you what. You come up with a credible scenario for hijackers to find their way from Logan to the South tower in 175 and I'll go away, how's that?

I realise this won't have any effect on our friend here but I thought this was interesting.

We know F175 was hijacked over New Jersey at approx 8:47. At point E on this map of the flightpath.

This location is approximately 40 miles from Manhattan:

The altitude at point E was 31,000ft.

Which gives us this view:

40 miles visibility is hardly exceptional. Especially when you consider that WTC1 would have been belching a huge column of smoke by then.

I must say I am in awe of the guy's ability to get even the most basic details so utterly wrong.

Tell me Malcolm, have you ever even been on a plane?

To whit, his claim that ATC is only concerned with aircraft landing or taking off at an airport, and his quite obvious complete and utter lack of any education in physics or navigation.

In fact his lack of knowledge in all feilds relevant to this discussion is remarkable in and of itself.

Precocious 10 year old, just plain ignorant or a mentally unbalanced individual are the choices I can come up with.

When I temped at an airline, it was rare to see a domestic flight with more than a Captain and First Officer in the cockpit. Occasionally there would be a Second Officer, but this was usually a training position.
