Telekinesiologist now at JREF!

THIS IS TO ALL PEOPLE:

Anyone who thinks I'm a fraud will get their proof sooner or later. Even if I have to learn how to use youtube I'll give you PROOF. I don't own a camcorder or anything of that sort so I'll have to borrow one from a friend. As far as the $1 millon challenge goes, there are things way more important. Your asking me if I wan't a million dollars when University's are sending applications to me? Srry but I don't want to be on tv and be some freak teen! Bad things happen to people that can do stuff. That's right. Instead of alien autopsy it'll be teen autopsy!

I take it that you don't want to show your abilities in front of skeptics either.

If you think that a video on YouTube is "proof", and I can replicate what you do without claiming paranormal powers, will you accept that your video isn't "proof" of your powers?

Here's one that has me scratching my head:

Perhaps one portion of the edge of the glass is machined to create a slight opening through which breath can pass?....Opinions?
No big deal. It's still temperature changes. Even through the glass, the temperature of the hands that close causes air currents. Note that the paper is under a tall glass and not a short bowl, hence heightening the effect of air currents caused by temperature changes.

And, of course, you can induce temperature gradients before you start filming. An extreme example, put a blowtorch to the bowl, make sure the paper is not spinning (stop it by hand if necessary), and then start filming. Soon, the paper starts moving. Of course, you will get results with much less than a blowtorch, your hands touching the glass is enough, but you get the idea.

TK:

1) Mark the paper North, South, East and West, in relation to where it is in the room.

2) Balance it on a pin, and leave the room

3) Come back in an hour, and see if the paper moved without you there.

Good luck with everything Trollekenesiologist!
Mark Hammill had to learn your skills too when they were filming Empire and Jedi. I saw it with my own eyes. He levitated his X-wing and scooped up his lightsabre from afar and and...wait...what?

I really don't think you are a fraud. I think you are misguided and lacking critical thinking skills. You have a severe case of wishful thinking.
Even if I have to learn how to use youtube I'll give you PROOF.
Youtube videos with this kind of thing are a dime-a-dozen. You'll have to do much better than that. If you consider a video on youtube as proof of anything then my assessment of your thinking skills appears accurate.

As far as the $1 millon challenge goes, there are things way more important.
If you say so.

Bad things happen to people that can do stuff. That's right. Instead of alien autopsy it'll be teen autopsy!.
What bad things? And, what "stuff"? Who are these people? Can you give us a list of people who did "stuff" and bad things happened?

Listen, you are just the latest of many, many posters who have come to this board and made similiar claims. Like the others, you don't seem to realize the significance of what you are claiming. And, like the others, you appear to lack critical thinking skills.

If you truly are interested in education, I suggest you do some research on the scientific method, and educate yourself on the subjects of confirmation bias, wishfull thinking, and test protocols.

There are some really smart people on this board from whom you can learn much about how easy it is to fool yourself when you have an emotional investment in a perceived paranormal ability.

No, you are not a fraud. You are a teenager who is overly excited about something which you are not able to assess properly. We've all been there.

if it is replicated exactly as shown then yes.

I'm also in Toronto and can easily get us testing space at either university. Just let me know (via PM if you prefer) which one you attend (I'm assuming the one at the northern end of the city) and when you have an hour or two between classes. I also would be happy to wait until classes/exams end.

You may be right, but let me tell you this. Mabye spinning paper isn't enough to get skeptics to change their mind, but moving alot heavier objects will. Considering what I've heard from others, I am relativly new to this stuff. So, I still have alot to learn and achieve. Believe it or not, this forum has now given me the motivation I needed to continue.

Watch this video and tell me if it's so hard to prove on youtube.

This is not me but it's what I hope to achieve

I don't know what things are like in your country, but in the US, median income is right around 33K/year. Let's assume 40hr/week, 2 weeks vacation, 2 weeks federal holidays, and 2 weeks sick leave, all paid, generous assumptions. That's 55,757 hours of work. People are willing to work 55757 hoursto get $1M.

But you can't be bothered with it because you have some college applications to fill out?

cool......

and can he do it from a distance of 10 feet. I don't think so.

TK, if you honestly believe this video to be demonstrating anything other than a simple magic trick (one you could learn to do yourself if you're willing to travel to a magic shop and spend $10 or $15), then I suggest you post it in "Conjuror's Corner" on this forum.

VERY simple trick in that video, TK. Nothing more.
