As seems usual, your reply doesn't address the post it's quoting. The idea 'They still have the titles but are just not using them'.

'The Crown has instructed the Lord Chancellor of the warrant'.Now you've quoted the official statement from the Palace saying what the King is doing, do you still doubt that he's doing it?
Face saving for Anne's and Edward's children, whilst Andrew's gets to use the titles. As seems usual, your reply doesn't address the post it's quoting.
Seems like this would be exactly the sort of power that the monarchy (and monarch) still retains.Doesn't have the legal power. Power resides with Parliament not the monarchy. Know your history.
That makes no sense at all.Face saving for Anne's and Edward's children, whilst Andrew's gets to use the titles.
You pointed out that Edward's children were still prince and princess but 'just didn't use their titles'.That makes no sense at all.
Why, what did they do wrong?
Nope - clear as mud. Edward's kids can use the title princess and prince i.e. are a princess and a prince. Andrews's kids can use the title princess, i.e. they are princesses. Anne's kids can't use the title prince or princess because Anne is not a son of a monarch. BUT you now must remember a particularly important thing here - it is all make believe - there are no actual binding rules, they can do whatever they want. You pointed out that Edward's children were still prince and princess but 'just didn't use their titles'.
Fact is, there was an RF trimming, which is the reason why. Except Andrew. Who INSISTED his kids use the titles. Clear now?
He obviously doesn't get anything, nevermind whatever "it" is. Plus who on earth is he?Richard Eden gets it.
