Is that for a relatively healthy lifestyle 78 year old? Trump is an angry, lazy, fat pucker with the end-stage diet of Supersize Me. I suspect there's some adjustments to the calculation required. By my estimate, he's been dead for a few years now.The actuarial tables shows that a 78 year old man has 5.3% of dying and at 79 5.8%, life expectancy 8.9 to 7.9 years
“Governor” Justin Trudeau of Canada…Trump statement on the Macron visit and Ukraine
Agreed. People who lean Democrat are "scumbag commies?" WTAF??? How can those be the words of a highly placed official in the Federal Bureau of Investigation? Only in this 'through the looking glass' world we now inhabit, they are. What a deplorable attitude.
Musk gave up after reading the heading only. Then decided to Xcrete a vid of him dancing with a chainsaw. Progress MAGA style!Who knew? The federal gov't is not bloated.

Wannabe mafia bosses.Agreed. People who lean Democrat are "scumbag commies?" WTAF??? How can those be the words of a highly placed official in the Federal Bureau of Investigation? Only in this 'through the looking glass' world we now inhabit, they are.
They all talk like that. trump, musk, etc. What intelligent, rational adult express themselves that way? It's like we're being governed by a group of high school wise guys.
Or is this 'bro culture?'
I think that this is a bit too rash an assessment. It's saying that they think they'll find said Elon-generated proof, not that they have it, is it not? They have the technology! Pfft.
Oh, look, they have mystical, algorithmagical Elon-generated proof of all the fraudies that Elon claims to have found, which no one else in decades has seen and which justifies Elon's indiscriminate purges. Again, where are the economists? Where are the forensic accountants? Where are the computer scientists who don't work for Elon? Why didn't Elon's black-box algorithm figure out that he shouldn't fire the people who guard our nuclear stockpile? Everything is just based on slack-jawedly believing that Elon Musk is a galaxy-brained super genius, when the evidence seems to be little more sophisticated than 1,$s/Reuters/d.
It's questionable whether data lies, because data can be manipulated to support a lot of things. That's why we require the manipulations to be publicly inspectable. But Elon certainly lies.
On the other hand, we do not see any such actions from the republicans. (Yeah, they may talk in private about how "Trump is crazy/he's a problem", or they may complain about him after they leave politics, but when confronted with the opportunity to actually do something, they cave. (Witness that the ONLY senator to reject Kennedy's confirmation was Moscow Mitch.)
Indeed. Serious learning and psychological problems. Judges tend to know how the law works, and how to apply it.
If true, is this how most Americans actually expect their president to behave and speak? Is this how you want your chief national representative to behave on your behalf? Is this how you want to be seen in the world, being led by a petty, foul-mouthed, insulting old codger lounging in a Laz-E-Boy shouting insane insults at people on TV?
Is this the depths to which the USA have sunk?
The good ol' boys might be more accurate. Naturally, anti-Republican statements that are orders of magnitude less problematic have been enough to stir up mass outrage about how biased the FBI is among the far right, but stuff like this?Agreed. I think it might be the case that the workforce is badly distributed some againceis are understaffed aond others over staffed.Who knew? The federal gov't is not bloated.

In my opinion, every time Trump insults Prime Minister Trudeau, Canadian Foreign Affairs minister Mélanie Joly should call US ambassador David Cohen into her office and deliver a diplomatic note.“Governor” Justin Trudeau of Canada…
I noticed the pig slipped that in“Governor” Justin Trudeau of Canada…
A couple of years ago, I started a thread to talk about some of these sorts of "coincidences"... things Trump or his Klan have done that seem to reference nazi germany or other alt-right politics.Interesting.
Symbol of the Blood & Soil Movement, Hitler Youth, and 7th SS Division Prinz Eugen.
Also used in South Africa by pro apartheid, extreme right wing groups.
Just an unfortunate coincidence I'm sure.

Subject to the discretion of the President, they will be given another chance.
Failure to respond a second time will result in termination.
Possible, but I suspect that if you are a congress-critter, you would have access to at least some security (either through the capitol police, or through private security, since a lot of congressmen are relatively wealthy.) Plus, the threat of MAGAchud attacks hasn't stopped Democrats from standing up against Trump, and they're just as much at risk.Perhaps not be arrested by the government, but couldn’t Trump or Musk harness “Truth” Social or X to send axe-wielding nutters to their private homes?Secondly, the U.S. has a (sort of almost) democracy. Unlike Schindler (where he was working in an authoritarian system), a republican congress critter actually COULD have a significant role in undermining Trump, with no risk of being arrested by the government.
I've found that you can understand the way Trump treats both his position as President and the process of government if you think of the whole thing as a "reality" TV show, with all the depth and commitment to actual reality that that implies. It's no accident that he constantly obsesses over (and inflates) his ratings (i.e., polls) as well as the ratings of anyone who vocally oppose him. He, of course, is both the chief protagonist and the judge of the show, the problem being that everyone else in the world has been drafted to be contestants, with or without their knowledge or consent.

The email request was utterly trivial, as the standard for passing the test was to type some words and press send!
Yet so many failed even that inane test, urged on in some cases by their managers.
Have you ever witnessed such INCOMPETENCE and CONTEMPT for how YOUR TAXES are being spent?
Makes old Twitter look good. Didn’t think that was possible.
