Merged New telepathy test: which number did I write ?

. You say you transmit the idea of number, but your tests are all about a particular representation of a number -- you write it down using Arabic numerals in a base sufficiently large it is only a single digit.

Or are you sending the number as something other than a visual image of the digit?

If you are just sending a mathematical thought from your mind, what's the point of writing the number down on paper?

well, in that case I choose 2520

He wants a number, as large as possible. So far it's 1598.

Hello, <tap> <tap> is this thing on? Can anybody receive my thoughts?

This brings up an important question. What is the purpose of these tests? If the underlying assumption is that everyone, Michel and the public, knows that Michel is projecting his thoughts into everyone's heads, and everyone is just pretending not to hear, who is he trying to convince? He is already convinced. He believes we are already convinced.

So why are we doing this?
I have already mentioned that I hear voices in my head who tell me to kill myself (these 'voices' seem to be convinced that my "telepathic waves" kill people; therefore, they say, I should "kill myself"). It would be nice if "successful" telepathy tests could stop these hostile voices (and, if not for me, perhaps for somebody else later). I feel I am a victim of other forms of persecution too, for example very violent and highly abnormal noises in my apartment (I have recorded some of them).

Michel, please do not kill yourself. The voices in your head and your feeling of persecution are just symptoms of your condition. Please find a mental health professional you can trust to help you with this.

Again. I suggest that you talk again to people who might help you deal with these problems. As I've said, there are a lot of recent advances in medicine that might help you be better able to control these unwanted thoughts and noises. You don't need to believe you are wrong in your analysis of the reasons: these thoughts bother you no matter what. There are a lot of people with physical problems that are helped by modern medicine whatever the basis Please don't let your prior experiences with MDs convince you that there is no medical help: there are a lot of big improvements in the very recent past. And probably MDs better at dealing with you than in the past.

With that said, don't you feel that finding out you can't broadcast your "telepathic waves" to hurt other people would be a positive? I don't see any evidence that you can do so to hurt or kill people. If you feel other people are lying to you about your telepathy and you want to be put at ease, perhaps it is these "voices" that are the ones lying to you?

I wish we could find a way to persuade you that telepathy does not exist at all, as at least you could then be entirely certain that what these voices tell you isn't real.

I hope you find a treatment that helps you overcome these hostile voices.

Please don't hurt yourself. I would think it would be a relief to learn these voices were not real.

There are medical professionals who can help you stop the hostile voices. Please seem them out.

For many of us, these discussions are entertainment of a sort. But your health is far more important. Please at least consider that medical attention could be the solution for your suffering.

Michel, the fact that your tests here for telepathy have clearly not been successful should help to show that these hostile voices are originating from your own brain, not from outside, despite how "real" they may seem. Do not believe that the voices you hear are telling the truth. No "telepathic waves" (no such thing has been proven to exist) coming from you are actually harming anyone, so the "voices" you hear are lying.

We've been suggesting for some time that you should seek again medical help (even though the help you've received in the past has apparently not helped all that much). Really, this does offer the best opportunity for you to get some relief from these voices and noises that are clearly, and understandably, creating a lot of stress for you. Please do give a chance to medical professionals one more time, and talk to a doctor about what you've been experiencing.

In fact, I partly agree myself with my "hostile voices", in the sense that (I think) I do observe some correlation between some violent events sometimes reported in the news, and my own personal thoughts (this, however, doesn't mean I approve or encourage such things). These phenomena even seem to be fairly common. Here is an example:

On November 29, 2013, 18:20 GMT, I posted, on this forum:
...This is outside the subject of this thread, but one may remark that Nazi persecutions against the Jews would probably not have gotten so bad, had the UK and France not decided to declare war to Adolf (it was really the last thing that he wanted)....
About four hours later, at 22:22 GMT, a police helicopter crashed on a pub in central Glasgow (Scotland), 10 people died in the accident, 32 were injured (wikipedia, Guardian).
According to wikipedia:
The report stated that one of the two tanks supplying the engines was empty and the other contained 0.4kg of fuel. A third tank, known as the main tank, was reported to contain 76kg of fuel but the transfer pumps supplying this fuel to the two engine fuel tanks were reported to have had their switches in the "off" position.
The Guardian said:
The dead included both the pilot, the experienced RAF combat veteran Captain David Traill, and two police officers, Kirsty Nelis and Tony Collins.

And here is another example.

On August 14, 2012, I mentioned, on this forum, that NATO had bombed Serbia's state television station in Belgrade on April 23, 1999. Yugoslavian minister Goran Matic reacted by saying that this was "a monstrous crime without precedent in history".

Five days later, film director Tony Scott committed suicide by jumping off a bridge in California (wikipedia). He did not seem to be suffering from any serious physical or mental health problem.
He had, however, been the director of the movie Top Gun (wikipedia). Wikipedia says, about this film:
Movie producer John Davis claimed that Top Gun was a recruiting video for the Navy, that people saw the movie and said, 'Wow! I want to be a pilot.'" After the film's release of the film, the US Navy stated that the number of young men who joined wanting to be Naval Aviators went up by 500 percent.

You are experiencing a delusion. These two events have absolutely nothing in common. Your last example also had no common connection.

Delusional thinking has many roots, some of which may be physical problems that can be treated with medication. I urge you to ask your family for help today.

This. Please try to understand this post, Michel.
