WTC dust

So, you're basing your "It burned too long" on personal ignorance.

Wonderful.

Ever try fighting a fire with a ton of **** in the way?

Here is a simple experiment.

Take a candle. Put it behind a fan.

Turn fan on.

Piss through fan.

Observe results.

You must know how often it rained in NYC after the attacks, right? Answer=often.

And you're saying that chaos of debris would have had air pockets, right?
100 days later...it's still fuming like mad and stench fills the air.
27 days of rain and 100 days later, air pockets are still extant, and the fuel from ... ??? ... kept burning.

Oh, I forgot the 24/7 efforts of fire fighters from around the country, too. All that water they poured on the "fire"? Didn't help. All that dirt they trucked into Ground Zero? Nope. Still fuming. Still smelling. 100 days later.

Oh, so they weren't just turned into dust, now they were exploded into dust. One hell of a machine you have there.

I've been calling it a "gentle explosion" for a couple of years now, based on the measured horizontal velocity of <40 feet per second.

POOF!

I love how Dusty is claiming that it was not the US government that dustified the WTC but rather some unknown terrorists. As if some terrorists could possibly get their hands on such a device. A device, which if possible, would surely be the most powerful and valuable device ever invented.

And they apparently decided to only use it once. I dunno, if I were a terrorist that hates the USA and possessed a device which could turn skyscrapers to dust at will, I would hardly stop at just the WTC. I would continue dustifiying skyscrapers causing as much death, destruction, and chaos as possible.

The terrorists are smart. They got away with it for this long. They did it for the purpose, and not for the chaos itself. Tactics, man. Think.

I thought about it. You didn't. Any terrorist who possessed such a device could use it to bring America to its knees. Martial law would be declared, many Americans would be dead, trillions in economic damage would inflicted. Yet that hasn't happened. Any rational person can see why (I know you are not a rational person so I will give you a hint: the device does not exist and even if it did, it would not be in the hands of terrorists).

Have you ever been through martial law? If yes, what did it look like? And tell me how it's different from what we have today. My close friend has been through 2 different episodes of martial law in her life, and it has been very educational as I've learned about her story. For much of the time and in many locations, we have martial law in this country.

I guess we can add martial lawWP to the huge list of terms you don't understand.

You don't see all that dust in those pics? I see it.

Why are you requesting that I make a choice? The buildings were exploded into dust.

Ophthalmologists Baffled. Patient's Powerful Vision Can See Specs of Dust From Thousands Of Feet Away
But Not The Large Nonexploded Nondustified Steel Columns They Rest On.

Appointments With Psychiatrists Next.

The south face of WTC 2 wasn't "mostly air", and that's where a plane is said to have crashed. But videos say otherwise. Videos of 9:03AM do not depict a crash at the south face of WTC 2.

You do realize the perimeter columns were hollow as well, don't you?

Implosions look different from explosions. You're not saying there was an implosion at the WTC, are you? Implosions go down and in. Explosions go up and out. There was very little debris in the "footprint" of the Twin Towers. Most of the dust spread out all over lower Manhattan, and the steel that was left was located outside the footprint.

Difficult to believe as it may be, you missed the point of my post.

When buildings are demolished, they collapse. When they collapse, there is always a huge dust cloud.

I have seen one of these collapses myself. There was a 37-story building near the demolition site, and when the 19-story building was demolished, it produced a dust clould that completely obscured the larger building.

The high school physicist in you must wonder what that horizontal force was.

I never took high school physics, but in first grade I learned that a stack of wooden blocks never fell into its own footprint. The horizontal force here is essentially the same, except that the elasticity of the (non-dustified) steel members caused a somewhat different re-distribution of energy.

Be fair - even without the godzilla-with-a-pink-mohican WTCDust has demonstrated an active and vivid imagination.

Apparently she is unable to get any useful work out of her imagination. She borrows her ideas from Judy Wood and can't for the life of her imagine how these ideas might be applied to the real world. She just somehow knows she's right.

It must be martial law by proxy, because I have yet to see armed soldiers patrolling the neighborhoods.

Where exactly is this happening?

I've heard it called a collapse a zillion and one time. I've looked at images of the buildings as they were being destroyed, both moving and still, and I see dust, not a collapse.
now I know shes a troll

I wasn't going to respond to this thread any longer, but this just sort of forced my hand (I'll keep it civil though).

Since this is sort of, you know, an area I'm familiar with (given my nearly nine years of experience as an officer in the United States Army, an entity that uses tactics and strategy on a daily basis), I just thought I'd point out the following:

Anyone who is in possession of a weapon that is doing what you are claiming it is capable of doing, Dusty, is not going to stop once they've decided to use said weapon for their own personal agenda. A weapon capable of causing devastation on the level you are claiming would very quickly allow whomever controls it to quite literally take over the entire world, because a weapon capable of causing damage like that being fired from an unknown location would mean that we could not retaliate. Since we can say with a reasonable amount of certainty that the world is not under one government (the G-20 summit certainly illustrates that nicely), what then would be the motivation for someone in possession of this weapon to only fire it twice on a day over nine years ago? Tactically it makes no sense. If you have an enemy, your first goal is to destroy their capability to fight back (which is why we try to take out any long-distance weaponry first and foremost in battle). That was not accomplished on 9/11 in the slightest; we still have every piece of weaponry in the United States arsenal ready and willing to defend this country if need be, including all our long and short-distance weaponry. Heck, I qualified on my weapon during battle assembly just over a week ago. I find your understanding of tactics to be questionable at best, but I'm not here to do more than point out the fallacies in your beliefs. So I will only say this to you in regards to your post above; I highly suggest you read "The Art Of War" by Sun Tzu in order to get a better understanding of tactics, because right now I can only quote Inigo Montoya: "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

Without open spaces an office building isn't worth much. It seems the troofers haven't advanced much beyond playing with blocks. Kindergarten physics seems to be about all they're up to.
Well, you could have a solid core going all the way up, with just one floor, on the top. Problme is that wouldnt be much good on windy or rainy days.

You could also suspend workers from beams in harneses so they hang down the sides of the solid core. You could have a system of pullies so copiers and other office equipment could be negotiated to the correct worker. (all computer controlled of course). Meetings could be difficult though.

This way you wouldn't need even a lift shaft! or window cleaners.

I tried that and got electrocuted and made a bad mess. What was your point here?
