Honestly JFA I don't see it working like this. I hope this doesn't come across as sounding male chauvenistic, but anything that portrays females as dominant over males (it doesn't have to be porn - it can be anything involving physicality)(Power Puff Girls?!) just doesn't cut it with me. I suppose that's because, in reality, it's essentially non-existent (well, at least in the public domain), and my ability to suspend disbelief to the extent that I can appreciate and enjoy a fictitious scenario seems to be very limited!
So I reckon there could be a more dominating gene in the male species that releases some sort of hormone or something at the thought of "taking advantage" of a woman (could this partly account for rape?). That's not to say many men don't get off on the idea of being sexually dominated, but on the rare occasion that I stumble upon such a video I certainly can't fix that in my mind as male abuse in the way I can the other way around. I haven't seen enough such videos to comment reliably, but I suspect that there are very few indeed where the male is portrayed (convincingly) as really not wanting to be in that situation, whereas most of those where the woman is dominated are, and indeed may well be, in many.
The responses above mine pretty much say it all. But I'm going to be verbose anyway because..well...it's my nature.
You have several biases going on here. One of the major ones, it seems to me, is the belief that a real life submissive person wants
actual abuse rather than a controlled living fantasy. Quite a difference between the two. The difference between a real abuse situation and being submissive (female or male) is like the difference between living in a world that has constant earthquakes (real life abuse) and just going on a roller coasters in an amusement park (BDSM).
And there are women who are Dominate. I have no idea what the ratio is, but that doesn't even matter in this case, since you say it's non existent to you. They are out there, and they are just as Dominate as men can be. In most cases more so.
Again, everyone above me has said it (and I've said it too) but I'm going to say it again, you are stating a simple belief based on your bias and yes, your chauvinism. You have come right out and said that you can't respect a porn actress because they allow abuse to happen, and therefore, the majority of people don't respect them either.
Now that's fine so long as you realize that's simply your opinion and not a fact.
You want to challenge yourself and I admire that. So here it is.
You're wrong. You're going on the fact of "since I don't see it nor like it, it's doesn't exist." Here's a hint. Start with the fact it does exist. There are TONS of male-submissive, women Dominate (including some very abusive scenarios played out) porn out there. It's popular and a money maker. Realize that and that's a start. And you'd be surprised what kind of male submissive porn that's out there.
One final thing about this, and here's where your bias gets in the way of the truth: My porn is VERY male Dominate. In all my work, save one video, the women are very submissive and placed in situations that could be seen as taken advantage of. However, in all cases, during the real-life shoot, the porn actress was in control. She was the person who decided whether to do it or not, she was the one who decided when to stop and take a break, etc, and throughout every shoot, I make sure she's okay and comfortable.
And with my real life submissive girlfriend, the reality is the same. To make another analogy, I may be driving the car (Dominate) but she is the one with with the road map (submissive). Making porn is the same way.
So here's the contentious part (and I'll choose my words even more carefully than usual!) - if you were to run a reliable poll I suspect you'd find that more people, generally, would express more disrespect for such porn actresses than actors and consider what they do is more demeaning to women than what porn actors do is to men (especially men, most of whom would probably crack open a beer and shout "Go buddy"! Can you really see women, generally, doing the same (with a chardonnay, say

)?)
If I understand your question, I think that people who say "Porn demeaning to women" are blowing it out their backside and are chauvinistic. I don't know if there is a majority who say that, but if there are, then we have a lot of educating to do. But hey, the majority of people in the US say that Intelligent Design is real, so what the **** does the majority know?
And yes. I HAVE seen a bunch of women do the same with Chardonnay and with beer. And with other men!
