Your reading comprehension is out of tune. When did I say I welcome neo nazis? I despise all that. What I'm doing is blaming the failures of the extremist, ideological, science-denying faction of the left for causing the debacle (at least some big part of it).
I know it's hard to swallow and considering the zealotry displayed I don't really expect any recognition of the fact.

I consider the Dems to be the least bad of the political parties in the USA currently and would have voted for them, nevertheless.

I don't see how that was an exercise in power for the "woke left". It was a single case about a teacher trying to hide behind religion. Thats not a new thing, unless teachers were allowed to refuse to teach things like evolution. If that's what you're hanging your hat on, then the "anti-woke" are even weaker than I thought.
