Some Democrats are still doing it wrong!
Chuck Schumer is toast.
Even the Baileys have given up on him at this point.
BLUE WAVE to flip Senate & oust Schumer? SEE MS NOW panel on UPENDING Dem Leaders! (MS NOW on YouTube, Oct 5, 2026 – 6:41 min.)
Democrats are discussing the potential for a “blue wave” as the midterm elections approach. Political analyst Juanita Tolliver and Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Eugene Robinson join.

3:49–> Juanita Tulliver: But I think it's about the fact that [Abdul El-Sayed] is a candidate who wants to deliver something like Medicare for all, for the people. And he knows that is not something that Chuck Schumer would do, which is similar to Troy Jackson out of Maine who also wants to expand access to child care –um, what is it? – access to health care for more and more individuals across this country.
And they don't believe that Schumer is willing to do that.
I also point to earlier this year in a shutdown fight where Schumer and eight other senators aligned with Republicans to avert and avoid a shutdown at a moment when Republicans were pushing an agenda which was taking more and more from the people. And that, I think, was a watershed moment in Schumer's leadership that demonstrated he is not willing go toe-to-toe with the Trump administration or Congressional Republicans to deliver and provide for the people.

"Tommy" did what he was paid to do. Maga and cultists witll stop watching after he asks his question.
That's why we need to remind them!
You know, payback for their 'liberal tears' Schadenfreude, which they are only now realizing didn't age well. :D

Once more - people's chief beef with Democrats that we hear consistently in focus groups and see in surveys is too weak, not too woke. 2/2
I think that Anat meant to say:
People's chief beef with Democrats that we hear consistently in focus groups and see in surveys is [that they are] too weak, not too woke.

If that is what she meant to say, then I agree!

The WhatsApp Campaign machine of Lula da Silva in Brazil is a template on how to crush the right-wing social media dominance, boost your side and force your opponent to deal with negative information about themselves.

Your article is two weeks old, and yes, I do expect that, not least because Abdul El-Sayed is offering something brand new. The media keeps calling it populism and comparing it to the Tea Party, but this is what the Tea Party never was:
educated and science-based populism. It couldn't possibly be a bigger contrast to both the GOP (both versions: fascism and fascism light) and corporate Democrat (fascism light pretending to be regrettable fascism light): We are America. We can do both.)
And then there's this from MS NOW:

Since you don't seem to have a newer one with generic ballot polling in that state, it will have to suffice. Personally, I'll be surprised if any of the left populist candidates outperform local generic polling.

Two ads from Dem candidates, Abdul El-Sayed and Keisha Lance Bottom, at 1:24 –> 3:02 in this video:
Republicans OUTRAGED Over Democrats’ Fox News Ad (Pod Save America on YouTube, Nov 2, 2026 – 23 min.)

I had heard about the El-Sayed ad, but I hadn't seen it until I saw it there.
Pretty harmless and not very interesting, in my opinion.
As long as the narrative is about the outrage to the thing and not the thing itself, having met or exceeded that level of outrage in return is all you need to do.

Is this local generic enough for you?

I think this will go well for two years. Democrats won't do much with Trump in there, but also will not hurt for the 2028 election. Any successful Republicans will just stick to their state level jobs now and not ruin it with two more years of Trump. No meaningful presidential candidate will come out of the GOP.

Well there's going to be a lot of vetos, I'm hoping there will be some GOP support for overriding them. It will depend on how popular the bill is.

After gushing over the Sunshine Protection Act, I suspect he would veto it just because the Dems were for it.
