What do you define as a 'token gesture'? If it simply means voting for candidates who don't win then you are wrong about it not being worth the effort.

That wouldn't bother a conservative. What'd bother a conservative is the lack of fare enforcement. That's what leads to the crime and other bad behavior often seen on big city transit.

I think this may be the reason why they think "the absolute best medical care in the world" means that 30+ men need gender-affirming hormone therapy instead of flu vaccinations.
I'm pretty sure a psychologist would say he's projecting, but it's also possible Becca Balint is right about him.
It could be both, I guess.

If Mamdani increased fare enforcement, I'd support him. I guess, then, an obvious difference between the conservative mindset and the progressive mindset is conservatives care much more for results, rather than what sounds good.
