Evidence of your shifting theories.
So nothing in homeopathy has changed in 200 years? Absolutely nothing? You really have faith that one person 200 years ago was able to know everything about all diseases ever known or will be known?
Surely it is good to stop using something if it doesn't work or change it so that it does work? What is the point of using something if it repeatedly fails?
(I understand why some people who push a non-treatment like homeopathy do so, even though it
doesn't work since they make a lot of money out of offering a treatment that doesn’t work. I also understand the motivation of "Big Business" that supply homeopathic “remediesâ€, after all it is an incredibly
profitable business and they have a vested interest (i.e. increasing their profit) in promoting homeopathy. Granted I don’t know how they sleep at night but hey that’s “Big Business†executives for you!)

Should one have faith in whatever the modern gurus say?

Strange question. One shouldn't have to have "faith" in
any treatment. One should be able to find the evidence that something does as it is meant to do, that of course may include some nasty
possible side effects. As a slight aside that’s why the recent scandal about COX-2 inhibitors is a
scandal and it’s why what the tobacco industry did was a scandal. To withhold information or to not
reveal negative results in such a way that prevents someone from making an informed decision is
fraudulent and in matters of health should
always be a criminal offence.
Back to the point of “faithâ€. Faith is all a (if any are at least this truthful) "practitioner" of homeopathy has in their “treatments†since they have
never been proven to work. Faith is a belief without evidence, and is a quite often a delusion (since the belief held by a faith holder is a false belief contradicted by evidence).
