Understanding homeopathy

Changes on change in concentration & differanciation of total energy in any substance than its previous level can be basis of all 'evolutions'. Zero as individual may not have any PE, but can have PE if concentrated & associated with 1 as 10. So 10 is an evolution.
Kumar, could you give us your definition of the word "evolution," please? You don't seem to be using the same one as the rest of the English-speaking world.

Edited to add: While you're at it, perhaps you should try to define all the other words you've used.

I will consider this as best definition of evolution;

"a process in which the whole universe is a progression of interrelated phenomena"

Furthur if you can show me potential energy in chemical bonds, as 'rest mass energy' etc. in exact science, I will translate other things as per my thoughts.

Kumar, we can tell you how energy is stored in chemical bonds, but you won't understand it. Worse still, you will misinterpret the explanation and claim it explains homeopathy.

Can you think of any reason why any of us should go to the considerable trouble of explaining a fairly complex concept to somebody who won't understand it anyway? Especially knowing that bits and pieces of the explanation will be taken out of context, twisted upside down, and form the basis for new, endless, useless questions?

People have been trying to explain things to you for over a year, now. You have asked hundreds of questions, and gotten hundreds of answers. You have not understood ONE thing. You have not gotten ONE answer correct. If anything, you have become more confused. ..... You have not even learned to spell the word "answer" correctly .

Why should anybody bother, anymore?

Hans

Mr.Hans,

As I told several times, if it interest or serve any other purpose, people can post here in my topics. I have never insisted, pursued unduely etc. to anyone to 'waste their time if of no use'. This is just your decision. To me & from my point of view, it is not waste of time or fun or trolling, as otherwise my time is important & useful.

Thanks & best wishes.

No, that's the definition of handwaving.

Ah, so a very similar situation to my case from last year. I still wonder where that poor cat was for the last two days of his life, and was there nobody who noticed that he needed help until it was too late?

First of all, any detail you give is irrelevant to me. I don't know you and certainly don't trust you anymore than you would trust me. Secondly, I'd like to make it clear that I am not a fan of Wim's - and have no knowledge of those vet homeopaths he reveres.
You don't need to trust me. Mr. Edwards' address is on the letter, which was published in a professional journal. If you want his telephone number, I'm happy to oblige. This is an enormously greater amount of supporting information than is ever given in any of the anecdotes we hear about how great homoeopathy is.

We have been trying to point out to you for months that all the evidence we have suggests that the cases the homoeopaths showcase are the cherry-picked selection of "good luck stories", and that if you could look at the unedited set of case reports of a homoeopathic practice you'd see that this was the case.

We have also been trying to point out that it can be very easy to persuade the owner of a pet that the animal is better when this is not objectively the case. And that a slick talker can do the same for human patients too.

And we have occasionally mentioned that the profit margins possible in homoeopathic practice would make a conventional practitioner, with all his costly overheads, weep.

All this is beautifully illustrated by Richard's experience, and your flat refusal to engage with the points made I'm afraid speaks volumes.

ASlso, how often do I have to spell it out for you? Richard was initially sceptical of homoeopathy, but was persuaded by the lying claims the homoeopaths presented him with. He only reverted to "cynical sceptic" after exposure to the full truth of what was going on in the homoeopathic practice.

Rolfe - I have said, a few times now, that if in case there was deliberate misrepresenting the truth of the cases, deliberate lying, then those who did so are rotten, decietful members of my profession. You, however, want me to make the jump fromt hat statement to "all homeopaths are frauds" - Can't you see the problem with that?

Look, I know you feel like you are beating your head against the wall with me and I am sorry for that. I feel that way myself when dealing with folks from opposite viewpoints. The fact is that there really is nothing within your power to convince me to change my views. That doesn't mean it can't happen, it doesn't mean there isn't something out there that may have me have a change of view - it just means it's not within your ability.

Just to let you know all your words haven't been lost on me - I have learned several things from you and a few other members of this board and you and a couple others have caused me to view some things with a more critical eye.

I can see your problem, yes.

However, the point I'm trying to make isn't that one single lie was told here, one single case (or a few cases) misrepresented. The case that Mark made to Richard was pretty much verbatim the full "case for homoeopathy" advanced in your forums. The very same papers cited that are cited to us as "scientific" proof that homoeopathy works. The very same practice of showcasing a few patients that got lucky, while quietly forgetting about the mass of less fortunate ones. The very same practice of persuading patients who weren't actually getting better (or their owners) that the homoeopathy was really doing something.

The lies here weren't specific, they comprised the entire body of the general "evidence for homoeopathy". So if this is "rotten, deceitful" behaviour, then I've yet to meet a homoeopath who is not guilty of it. Some are simply less aware of their deceit than others.

Rolfe.

Edited to add: Your profession? That vet and his colleagues, however delusional or dishonest, are veterinary surgeons. You are unqualified and amateur, and you play at doctors by calling yourself a homoeopath. Don't even think about putting yourself in the same category.

Wow - that was rude. I was refering to the profession of homeopath, certainly not veternary doctor. Sheesh, there was certainly no disrespect meant.

? 206 Sixth Edition

Before commencing the treatment of a chronic disease, it is necessary to make the most careful investigation1 as to whether the patient has had a venereal infection (or an infection with condylomatous gonorrhoea); for then the treatment must be directed towards this alone, when only the signs of syphilis (or of the rarer condylomatous disease) are present, but this disease is very seldom met with alone nowadays. If such infection have previously occurred, this must also be borne in mind in the treatment of those cases in which psora is present, because in them the latter is complicated with the former, as is always the case when the symptoms are not those of pure syphilis; for when the physician thinks he has a case of old venereal disease before him, he has always, or almost always, to treat a syphilitic affection accompanied mostly by (complicated with) psora, for the internal itch dyscrasia (the psora) is far the most frequent fundamental cause of chronic diseases . At times, both miasms may be complicated also with sycosis in chronically diseased organisms, or, as is much more frequently the case, psora is the sole fundamental cause of all other chronic maladies, whatever names they may bear, which are, moreover, so often bungled, increased and disfigured to a monstrous extent by allopathic unskillfulness.

1 In investigations of this nature we must not allow ourselves to be deceived by the assertions of the patients of their friends, who frequently assign as the cause of chronic, even of the severest and most inveterate diseases, either a cold caught (a thorough wetting, drinking cold water after being heated) many years ago, or a former fright, a sprain, a vexation (sometimes even a bewitchment ), etc. These causes are much too insignificant to develop a chronic disease in a healthy body, to keep it up for years, and to aggravate it year by year, as is the case with all chronic diseases from developed psora. Causes of a much more important character than those remembered noxious influences must lie at the root of the initiation and progress of a serious, obstinate disease of long standing; the assigned causes could only rouse into activity the latent chronic miasm.

Here we have the confusion of venereal diseases... not seperating them as seperate problems. With the ITCH associated with being the actual cause.

Considering that the field of microbiology had not progressed far enought then to distinquish the gonorrhea bacteria from the syphilis bacteria -- it is understandable. But internal itching can ALSO be from yeast infections... which are completely different, and not at all the cause of syphilis or gonorrhea.

Real medicine has progressed in the past two centuries to find actual cures for gonorrhea, syphilis... and thankfully an over the counter medication for yeast infections. I remember when I had to get a doctor's prescription for a yeast infection remedy that needed to be applied for a whole WEEK! Now I can walk into my local pharmacy and get a 1-day over-the-counter treatment.

What is interesting was the footnoot about the causes for colds (which we now know is a virus... and it is a self-limiting condition), and the note on BEWITCHMENT.

Question: When female homeopaths have yeast infections, do they dose up with a homeopathic remedy or head on down to the "Feminine Products" aisle of their local pharmacy for creams or suppositories? (which, from my personal experience work!).

Or do they fear being "disfigured to a monstrous extent by allopathic unskillfulness" by using the over the counter yeast infection remedies.

What I find interesting is on some boards the women claim they don't go to the pharmacy for yeast infection cures. They take "natural" cures...like eating yogurt with live bacteria, or things like acidophilus supplements. I always wondered how effective they were.

I was taking some antibiotics for months for acne once (didn't help...I had to go on hormones - Dianne 35) and the pharmacist suggested acidophilus as a preventative measure. Didn't work. Sigh.

Do yeast infections ever just clear up on their own?

Well, thankfully I'm not a nutter and do go for the pharmacy at any little sign of anything...I'm just wondering about all those women who don't and their kids get thrush.

usually use Primadophilus for Children by Nature's Way or Children's PB8 by Nutrition Now along with Yo Baby yogurt by Stonyfield Farms.

Our Naturopath recommended anti-yeast herbs such as black walnut and pau d'arco. In addition, dietary changes are important such as eliminating sugar, dairy, animal products, and reducing processed foods. To support his immune system, she recommended olive leaf (a substitute for goldenseal). Slippery elm is used to heal the stomach and digestive tract. Lastly, probiotics are indicated to increase friendly bacteria. We are making great strides, but it's a long, challenging process. It's hard to administer remedies to a 18 month old child and keep up with it daily. Conventional medicine leads us to believe that we can be healed by a pill or cream, but as many of us with chronic conditions are learning, that is simply not the answer to achieve health.

The kids have to suffer through until it goes away on its own. Wondering about long term effects...

Not to gross you out but you eat the acidophilus if the yeast is in the mouth (babies) but for the feminine yeast location I was under the impression you put the stuff on a tampon and insert it.

If you remove the source of infection, you can cure yeast without antifungal medications. My question is why? It's not like the antifungals lead to more problems.
