More likely.

I saw an interview with an academic researcher who studied the conditions that lead to civil war. According to her, full democracies and authoritarian countries tend not to break down into civil war. (Democracies because people feel they have control through the ballot box, authoritarian counties because dissent is crushed.) But hybrid regimes are most at risk... people don't feel they can control their future democratically, but people have just enough freedom to organize an armed resistance.

In the US, people on "the left" are worried that democratic institutions are getting dismantled. Meanwhile you have your stereotypical "angry white male" who seems to be threatened by a potential loss of political influence as demographics change.
 
Rubio is going to ban foreign officials that enforce their countries laws on visiting Americans.
Foreign governments have no authority apparently.

Next time Habba or Bondi says no one is above the law, these pardons of violent criminals should be shoved back in their faces. Also too, remind them their boss is a convicted felon.
