This section is roughly 1500 people.
25 seats * 60 rows, rounded up.

I would guess that the standing sections behind those (no seats) would have roughly twice that density.

If you use the right angle it does look different from the Nat'l Park view. On the other hand, I can see why Trump could so easily think the Nat'l Park image was false in some way if that's what Trump saw from the podium.

I see and realized that also. But Spicer should know his figures were um, exaggerated.

and it turns out that he didn't take his speech from the Great Presidents of the Past, but rather Bane from The Dark Knight Rises....

Trump spoke directly to the American people and not so much to the politicians in DC. It was a moving speech and I was proud to stand in the rain to hear it as was everyone else around me. Trump destroyed the DC establishment and called it exactly as it is. Those that padded their pockets for years while the American worker suffered were called out and told it all stops today. Of course nobody from the Left will get what he was saying as a given. It's not a requirement to agree or disagree with what he said but one must acknowledge the fact that he did not deviate from anything he said he would do during the campaign.

His speeches don't deviate but his actions do.

He hired the DC establishment and those that padded their pockets for his cabinet.

Ok we had a good laugh here. Now tell us what you really think.

You mean like the actions within the Executive Orders he signed today?
Everything he signed he did so exactly as promised.

Trump first signed an executive order formally ending the United States participation in the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
Trump then signed an executive order that would implement a hiring freeze for many jobs in the federal government.
Trump then signed a third executive order that resurrects an abortion-related rule known as the Mexico City policy.

I know this is killing you, but this is happening exactly as he said.

No, I'm not referring to that.

I mean the people Trump has hired for his cabinet. They are all DC establishment or people who have lined their pockets while working class people struggle.

I think Liberals will never get what Trump said. It's at odds with your core beliefs and inability to separate political division from love of Country. Most Liberals that didn't vote for Trump will be furious during his time in office. And please continue. Demonstrate, break things, set cars on fire. Others may tell you not to do these things but I say continue, by all means.

Hogwash. You're bascially saying that people you disagree with, specifically, somehow can't understand other people's perspectives. Do you hold this for yourself and others who agree with you, as well? Or do you reserve this judgment only for your opponents?

I understand full well what Trump says and, to a degree, why it appeals to some. But I can also see why it's a lie and how people can be convinced by it regardless. I also note that Trump spoke as if he was still campaigning for the job of President rather than represending the whole of the American population.

Evidently Trump picked the best people for the jobs who will give the least resistance as he implements his proposed changes to the Country.

I'm not concerned with Trump's picks. Now let's see if your concerns end up being valid. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. If anything you should be happy with his picks since you see them to be in direct conflict with what he wants to do.

I think there are many that would rather concentrate on political division rather than celebrate a special day for our Country.

I did not attend Obama's inauguration, but I celebrated the day for our Country as being an important part of Democracy and freedom.

The best people for the jobs are exactly the people he railed against in his inaugural speech that you thought was so great?

No I don't see them in direct conflict. In fact they are exactly what I expected. He's a liar, he will tell his supporters whatever it is they want to hear and he will do the exact opposite but, as you've demonstrated above, his supporters will embrace the fact that he has lied to them and justify his lies for him. Trump thanks you and I thank you for illustrating this.
