Merged Trump shot in PA??

I think that’s pretty low of the fat felon Trump refusing to reach out to the widow of his slain supporter. At least Biden attempted to do so.

Having a lot of milita type supporters makes it more difficult to protect Trump - no one wants to be the guy who shot a trump fan just exercising is gun rights

"A bad shooter". Also, high school rifle team. Only in America.

Only in the USA? Canada also has junior shooting teams consisting of shooters 16 and under. Why do you think junior shooting is only a USA thing?

Didn't Carrol say that every women has a rape fantasy and her allegations against Trump mirrored a Law and Order episode? That's your star witness?

No, she did not say that. Do you have any other lies or misquotes you would like to trot out?

The Democrat party is still the party of Bill Clinton, unless I'm mistaken. Sexual Morality is a box you shouldn't be standing on. As I recall Biden has had accusers of sexual misconduct as well.

I have never claimed Trump to be virtuous or pure. I never will. He's not. I'm not interested in Trump "the man", I'm interested in Trump "the President" and his economic policies. Those in the US living paycheck to paycheck are currently suffering, even if you're not.
Let's face it, you're another angry Democrat and you can't lash out at Trump so you simply lash out at his supporters. Unfortunately for you, I'm not one that can be swayed by lies, spin and misdirection. The truth is a powerful ally.

So back to plotting how you intend to subvert Democracy by attempting to remove Biden from his candidacy all in the name of "protecting Democracy". While I wait for another batch of popcorn from the microwave.

Fascinating... Well, I am (financially struggling) and it is pretty clear to me that Trump is the antithesis of any one who gives one rat's behind about the workers in this country. His only accomplishment in his first term was cutting taxes for the rich and he is famous for not paying taxes while getting fat and wealthy. The extreme wealth gap increased exponentially under Trump which is why morons like Elon worship him. What happened to Trumps prediction of a market collapse under Biden? I know who my financial advisors, hardcore fiscal conservatives, wanted to win in 2020 and likely again in 2024--cause they gave me their economic forecast. Almost every economic marker favors Biden. Trump is incapable of feeling empathy for anyone "suffering" for any reason whatsoever--his whole being revolves around self worship. So either you've been brainwashed, or you're lying.

I agree with you, which is not normally something that happens.

Would you agree with me that comparing Democrats to Nazis is just the sort of dehumanisation you've just condemned?

That's a clever attempt. I would point out that reminding those that have continuously called Trump and his supporters Nazis for years of their own Nazi-like behavior by citing direct Historical facts that directly relate those actions or words to Hitler and Nazism as a suggestion to reset their narrative.

I also enjoy reminding those who claim to defend Democracy that replacing the candidate who won millions of primary votes is a direct attack on Democracy...

You missed the chance to reciprocate and agree that some Republicans also dehumanise their opponents.

But I showed you that Trump's unwanted penetrationof Carroll's vagina was indeed rape by any other definition.

Why do you continue to disinform. obfuscate, lie for your cult?

Because that is what cultists do. It's been the trumpkins' MO since 2016 or so. They're irredeemable and deplorable.

Still a CT.

To be honest, my peronal opinion is actually lone right winger either come to his senses on T****y or annoyed that T****y isn't gone far right enough.

But at the same time, false flag is still way more likely than anything the right are spewing out at the moment.

The head of the Secret Service says "the buck stops with me. I'm not resigning."

As the head of the agency, Cheatle said it's her responsibility to investigate what went wrong and make sure nothing like it can happen again.

"The buck stops with me," she said. "I am the director of the Secret Service, and I need to make sure that we are performing a review and that we are giving resources to our personnel as necessary."

So "the buck stops with me," is not really an admission of personal responsibility, but a reasssurance that the person who was in charge of the ****up will be in charge of the coverup investigation.

Nobody who hasn't been through a metal detector should have line-of-sight on an ex-President, let alone a presumptive nominee of a major party. We can talk all we want about the failure of local law enforcement to do their job; that is not an excuse. The Secret Service gave someone the best shot since at least 1981 and arguably since 1963**. That's a huge issue.

**And then there's that crazy three weeks in 1975 when two women actually had a chance to shoot President Ford. Squeaky Fromme failed to chamber her round and Sarah Jane Moore missed.

Given that an average, well-trained sniper can make a kill shot on a live target out to 800 yards, that's a huge number of people needing to be put through your metal detector to be sure of 99% protection for the target. A really top sniper, such as Cpl Craig Harrison of the British Army, has made kill shots out to over 2200 yards.

This suggestion comes from the CT thread, but is a whole lot more plausible than almost all of the other suggestions in that thread:

I have to say that sounds all too plausible to me. If so, it was just Trump's bad luck that he was the first famous person to come close enough to where the kid lived to be a suitable target.

Those are interesting Leftist Media articles and opinion pieces.

Reuters
ABC News
USA Today
NBC News
USA Today
Washington Post

I wonder if you actually read any of them? I did. In most cases the rhetoric sited within the articles came from online forums. Imagine that. Quoting online forum posts from those claiming to be angry Trump supporters immediately after the NY conviction of Trump. Yet not one call for political violence from the Trump campaign or Republicans in the news. I'll place a link at the bottom concerning forum posts.

I think my favorite so far has been the WaPo article. They specifically mention the term "Bloodbath" and go to great lengths to convince the reader what Trump "might have meant" rather than pointing out the real context of Trump's use of that term for the auto industry. Dishonesty and Leftist opinion pieces are a poor example of violent political rhetoric. Most of these articles were akin to "I heard" and "somebody said" most know these as the two biggest liars in town.

I would suggest everyone consider that the demand for violent political rhetoric from the Right has exceeded the supply. Here's a good look at what happens when this occurs:

Yes, that's certainly not one of those "Leftist Media articles and opinion pieces."

Trump Hasn't Called Family of Supporter Killed at Rally, Wife Says

Adeola Adeosun

Published Jul 15, 2024 at 9:07 PM EDT

The widow of Corey Comperatore, the heroic volunteer firefighter killed while shielding his family during the shooting at a Donald Trump campaign rally, said that the former president has not reached out to the grieving family.

The silence from Trump contrasts with an attempted call from President Joe Biden, which the Comperatore family declined. Helen Comperatore, speaking from her home in Sarver, Pennsylvania, told the New York Post in an exclusive interview, "I didn't talk to Biden. I didn't want to talk to him," adding, "My husband was a devout Republican and he would not have wanted me to talk to him."

Shows just how deep the cult goes.

Fake?
There were complaints made to the BSA.
It seemed prescient.
New Zealand media are youngsters larping as senior journalists.

Yes. Apart from the fact that it's clearly an amateurish fake, as I pointed out, Breakfast doesn't air on the weekends. It was Sunday morning in NZ when the assassination attempt took place, so the video couldn't possibly be authentic. The fact that some other people also thought it was real and complained to New Zealand's Broadcasting Standards Authority just shows that they're especially gullible.

As for "larping," NZ is a small country, so presumably it doesn't have a large pool of journalistic talent. But I imagine journalists there generally do the best they can.

Biden admits Trump 'bullseye' comments a mistake

US President Joe Biden has said it was a mistake for him to say "time to put Trump in a bullseye", days before Saturday's assassination attempt on his election rival.

Mr Biden's remarks came in his first interview since the incident, in which he defended his rhetoric against Donald Trump and cited why it was important.

The president told NBC's Lester Holt his campaign had a duty to clearly communicate the threat of a second Trump term, adding that his words were not the ones that needed to be tempered.
