It's hard to imagine that Flynn doesn't possess explosive evidence. Trump doesn't think twice about dumping people when it suits him. He's taken extraordinary steps to protect Flynn. I don't buy for a second that it's because Trump is loyal to those who are loyal to him.

There's one unlikely and bizarre scenario where Trump is innocent regarding Russia: The motivations for his actions are the same as when he went mental over the inaugural crowd size. Skin so thin that it barely contains his internal organs. He's not mommy's and daddy's special prince if he needed the Ruskies help to get elected.

For Trump loyalty is a one way street. You have to be loyal to him, but he feels no obligation to reciprocate if it suits his needs. I would agree that Flynn does have something on Trump or he would have been thrown under the bus long ago.

It seems that by striking him down, Trump has made Comey more powerful than he could have possibly imagined.

I saw this on a FB post:

Press: Trump just pooped on a table at a restaurant in NY.
White House: That is just fake news.
Trump: I pooped on a table at a restaurant in NYC, it was wonderful.
White House: Anywhere the President poops is a toilet.

Barring a smoking gun and a dead teenage prostitute under the desk of as naked Trump, I doubt anything major will happen (and even then knowing the GOP they will "pardon" him after a "tearful" confession). I could be dead wrong but I think that they will have in "managed" so that he may do blunder after blunder, but nothing major putting the US in anything beyond an embarrassing position.

I fear that you're right. The GOP will just muck it up on purpose to get nothing done and avoid losing political points. However I think it'll come back to bite them and everybody else by eroding what's left of the public confidence in the system.

The republican base has long since stopped caring about preserving the American system of government. They will support whoever the mouthpieces tell them to support, and if that means discarding the democracy of the last 250 years in favor of a dictatorship they will be all in.

He asked the director of the FBI to stop investigating Flynn. He wasn't talking to Billy Bush about grabbing a pussy.

No, that dog won't hunt.

yeah? Watch trump send that dog, 3-legged and blindfolded, out into the arena to fight the tigers. **** that dog. it wasn't loyal enough.
