Today's Mass Shooting

It wasn't you. No links. I'll assume, for now, most school mass shootings are perpetrated by whites because that's the common narrative. Though I shouldn't, until about a year ago I also believed that most mass shooters were white.
Given the number of shootings in America in general, it'd be easy to cherry-pick the ones that suit your preferred narrative.

I agree 100%. This thread has been a great example of what you say. That is why I am posting every single mass shooting that is added to gunviolencearchive.org in the order that they post them so that I can't be accused of cherry-picking anything.

You do realise that this could be considered flooding, and would be against the MA?

1 dead + 4 wounded in Columbus, Ohio

Officers were dispatched to a shooting at 6056 Channingway Boulevard. When they arrived, officers found multiple rounds were fired and located Marquise Hale, 19, lying in front of 1910 Fountainview Court with an apparent gunshot wound. Hale was taken to a local hospital where he died as a result of his injuries, police said.

Police said 22-year-old Donell Stovell III, 25-year-old Antawan McClenden, 20-year-old Jakyi Galloway, 24-year-old Ibrahima Jallow, were all hit by gunfire. They drove themselves to an area hospital where they are expected to recover.

Bogative, what definition of "mass shooting" are you using? The one I'm most familiar with starts at 4 people dead, not including the shooter.

No one includes career criminals and thugs shooting it out on the streets in "mass shootings" because the victims are overwhelmingly other criminals or people associating with them.

While random bystanders and other people might catch a stray bullet or get in the way of the shooting, it's not a rampage where they shoot down people more or less at random.

gunviolenearchive.org's definition. I like to use it because it is updated rapidly compared to most government sites and it is the go-to source for most mainstream media.
GVA uses a purely statistical threshold to define mass shooting based ONLY on the numeric value of 4 or more shot or killed, not including the shooter. GVA does not parse the definition to remove any subcategory of shooting. To that end we don’t exclude, set apart, caveat, or differentiate victims based upon the circumstances in which they were shot.
GVA believes that equal importance is given to the counting of those injured as well as killed in a mass shooting incident.

The FBI does not define Mass Shooting in any form. They do define Mass Killing but that includes all forms of weapon, not just guns.

In that, the criteria are simple…if four or more people are shot or killed in a single incident, not involving the shooter, that incident is categorized as a mass shooting based purely on that numerical threshold.

"An armed society is a polite society."

Laughable.

The US is an armed society, and one of the most impolite, arrogant, ego driven, self-centric and self-destructive societies on the planet.

Japan is an unarmed Society, and is one of the most polite.

These all seem to be pretty salient, though.
Highlighting, I suppose, the prevalence of gun violence in the U.S. , one might point out that we are awash in it. A veritable deluge.
Indeed this is quite true, but Bogative's stated intention was to flood the forum with individual posts.

I suggest that rather than one post per incident as they have been doing, Bogative collates multiple incidents into single posts, perhaps one post per day. That achieves their goal without flooding the forum.

No matter how it is posted Bogative is providing more than ample evidence/confirmation that shootings with multiple victims are a daily occurrence in the USA. It’s hard to tell if Bogative views this as negative or positive but s/he is certainly interested in the topic.

Seems like the typical "but Chicago!" response you hear from reactionaries when people point out how the right wing is overwhelmingly responsible for political violence.
