Yes. This useless bag of meat apparently went driving around rural Nova Scotia randomly killing people. And it looks like he planned this out for a while, he bought the 'police car' at an auction a few months ago. They say he bought a "look alike" and then added the decals on to make it look more realistic.

The suspect is now confirmed dead.

One police officer is confirmed dead and up to 13 others are dead also. But there's no official confirmation on the number of dead yet though. I think what's happening is that police are still investigating and are having to retrace this animal's steps and counting the bodies as they find them along the way? It's a rural setting so someone could be lying dead in their yard and nobody would know because people are in their homes from covid quarantine?

Ugh. What a horrific situation... such a quiet community with tiny little towns speckled around the area. My heart goes out to them.

In San Antonio, a man shot up the parking lot of a nightclub last night:

Police were searching for the gunman, who fled the scene Friday night, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said at a briefing early Saturday.

The gunman was part of a small group that left a bar in northern San Antonio and walked across the street to Rebar, a large nightspot that often has live music and DJ performances. The group was turned away at the door because they were “inebriated,” McManus said.

One of the members of the group responded by saying, “Don’t you know who I am? I’m a UFC fighter from California,” the police chief said.

That man then walked back to his car across the street, got a long rifle, walked back to the Rebar parking lot and opened fire, McManus said.

Five women and three men between the ages of 23 and 41 were hurt in the shooting, McManus said. Their exact conditions weren’t immediately known, but McManus characterized them as stable at local hospitals, where they took themselves.

11 injured + 1 dead by gunfire from "individuals on foot" in Minneapolis mass shooting. The description is kind of vague so we will have to assume the perpetrators are white police officers since they are the ones who are taking all the black lives these days, or at least that's what I'm told every time I turn on the news or read a newspaper.

4 shot in Willard-Hay neighborhood of Minneapolis. Not much information available on the shooter yet, but considering what I found when I googled "Willard-Hay shooting" I'm gonna assume it's not white supremacist activity.

You are missing the point, this is meant to be a commentary on the protests about the police, telling us that it is all the fault of those people not like “us”. In other words it is a racist screed.

Nah, it's an anti-racist screed. About a month back a misinformed member on this board made a claim that if a mass shooting were to happen, it would likely be a white shooter, which is so far off the mark from reality, I felt it necessary to link to a New York Times article that stated three out of four mass shooters were in fact black to counter the anti-white stereotype of mass shooters being mostly white.

I'm using this thread to highlight every mass shooting over the next few days to help counter the bigoted stereotype of mass shooters being white believed by so many of the critical thinkers and so-called skeptics here at ISF. I figure I may as well counter some of the BLM and ACAB bigotry while I'm at it.

Now, back to the mass shootings that seemingly are not being perpetrated by white people:

I, for one, am glad to see your deep concern for the epidemic of gun violence in America. Do continue. People need to be reminded that in the USA, gun violence is an overwhelming problem. Every day, people are gunned down, and it's time we did something about it.

I've got a "March for Our Lives" T-shirt you can borrow if you have misplaced yours.

It wasn't you. No links. I'll assume, for now, most school mass shootings are perpetrated by whites because that's the common narrative. Though I shouldn't, until about a year ago I also believed that most mass shooters were white.
