Mass shooting in Nova Scotia of all places. At least 10 dead. Suspect dressed like a cop and drove a "police-like" car. No real details yet.

Very strange. Should be interesting how this unfolds.

Yes. This useless bag of meat apparently went driving around rural Nova Scotia randomly killing people. And it looks like he planned this out for a while, he bought the 'police car' at an auction a few months ago. They say he bought a "look alike" and then added the decals on to make it look more realistic.

The suspect is now confirmed dead.

One police officer is confirmed dead and up to 13 others are dead also. But there's no official confirmation on the number of dead yet though. I think what's happening is that police are still investigating and are having to retrace this animal's steps and counting the bodies as they find them along the way? It's a rural setting so someone could be lying dead in their yard and nobody would know because people are in their homes from covid quarantine?

Ugh. What a horrific situation... such a quiet community with tiny little towns speckled around the area. My heart goes out to them.

In San Antonio, a man shot up the parking lot of a nightclub last night:

Police were searching for the gunman, who fled the scene Friday night, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said at a briefing early Saturday.

The gunman was part of a small group that left a bar in northern San Antonio and walked across the street to Rebar, a large nightspot that often has live music and DJ performances. The group was turned away at the door because they were “inebriated,” McManus said.

One of the members of the group responded by saying, “Don’t you know who I am? I’m a UFC fighter from California,” the police chief said.

That man then walked back to his car across the street, got a long rifle, walked back to the Rebar parking lot and opened fire, McManus said.

Five women and three men between the ages of 23 and 41 were hurt in the shooting, McManus said. Their exact conditions weren’t immediately known, but McManus characterized them as stable at local hospitals, where they took themselves.

11 injured + 1 dead by gunfire from "individuals on foot" in Minneapolis mass shooting. The description is kind of vague so we will have to assume the perpetrators are white police officers since they are the ones who are taking all the black lives these days, or at least that's what I'm told every time I turn on the news or read a newspaper.

According to gunviolencearchive.org that's 6 for today, so far.
15 for the weekend.
63 this month with nine days to go.

7 shot + 2 dead overnight in Charlotte, North Carolina. This mass shooting was recorded by a person at the scene. The video may be NSFW because of the color commentary and full-auto gunfire.

Systemic racism has yet to claim responsibility, but it will.

Witnesses tell me people were celebrating Juneteenth here on Beatties Ford all weekend. The celebration was happy, peaceful, positive. Some say then they saw drivers doing donuts in the road and driving fast. Shortly after shots went off and people started running. @WBTV_News pic.twitter.com/66SGCMSQ4J

4 shot in Willard-Hay neighborhood of Minneapolis. Not much information available on the shooter yet, but considering what I found when I googled "Willard-Hay shooting" I'm gonna assume it's not white supremacist activity.

"ShotSpotter detected 41 rounds fired in that area"

I'll go with CaptainHowdy's assessment above along with the fact that there is a ShotSpotter in the neighborhood and conclude this was not white supremacist activity.

Breaking news: there's gun crime in the United States of America!

In other news, a bear was spotted defecating in the woods and the Pope admitted to being Catholic.

You are missing the point, this is meant to be a commentary on the protests about the police, telling us that it is all the fault of those people not like “us”. In other words it is a racist screed.

I know what it's about. If it were any more transparent it would need stickers on it to stop people walking into it and hurting their noses!

Nah, it's an anti-racist screed. About a month back a misinformed member on this board made a claim that if a mass shooting were to happen, it would likely be a white shooter, which is so far off the mark from reality, I felt it necessary to link to a New York Times article that stated three out of four mass shooters were in fact black to counter the anti-white stereotype of mass shooters being mostly white.

I'm using this thread to highlight every mass shooting over the next few days to help counter the bigoted stereotype of mass shooters being white believed by so many of the critical thinkers and so-called skeptics here at ISF. I figure I may as well counter some of the BLM and ACAB bigotry while I'm at it.

Now, back to the mass shootings that seemingly are not being perpetrated by white people:

5 shot during candlelight vigil in Brooklyn New York.
No description of the shooter is available at the moment. Considering it is Brooklyn and this shooting occurred at a candlelight vigil, no description is really needed.

I, for one, am glad to see your deep concern for the epidemic of gun violence in America. Do continue. People need to be reminded that in the USA, gun violence is an overwhelming problem. Every day, people are gunned down, and it's time we did something about it.

I've got a "March for Our Lives" T-shirt you can borrow if you have misplaced yours.

That was me, in a conversation about armed police in US high schools.

Any links to the number of high school mass shootings perpetrated by non-whites?

It wasn't you. No links. I'll assume, for now, most school mass shootings are perpetrated by whites because that's the common narrative. Though I shouldn't, until about a year ago I also believed that most mass shooters were white.
