The Oldest Religious Structures & Ancient Aliens?

Well then: you are like a statue then aren't you?
You won't budge from your way of thinking you stand there like a statue.
So in a sense you are statuesque.
Now I am being a troll you leprechaun.
Ladewig wants to know:
I consider it to be closely related to the thread's topic, so I hope you will provide more information about it (although starting a new thread is fine as well). Also, are these aliens in need of Divine Salvation in the same way humans are? Did the One True God send an offspring to die for their sins?
I don't know about your God questions to all this, but I think if looking at what is known about what they said, that they do know of a god, were they in need of salvation like we were?
Maybe, maybe not.
The theme is they know about an afterlife.

But seriously my garbage about dowsing stands in direct opposition to what the Status-que believes with only a minimum of research and the explanations that are accepted and I feel that what I have learned goes beyond those studies.

1. I read Zecharia Sitchin’s book and Erik Von-Daniken
book years before I experienced anything.

2. I had seen some things when I was in the military that had no explanations and was along the lines of spiritual and unidentified.

3. I forgot these things and went about my life till I decided to move to CA.

4. 1 year went by and my friend accidentally knocked me off a haystack and I broke my heel in four pieces, I left there to go camping in Northern California to recover on my own for 4 months till I could walk out on my own to the nearest town which was 18 miles, it took 6 tries.

5. I got a job in that town when autumn set in and had to go back to pull my stuff out of the woods.

6. One of the trips back down the road I seen them and their machines, twice.

7. Their propulsion was electrical in nature and was simply amazing I got to see the craft and heard the craft it was like they knew what they were doing to show me but I didn’t know why at this time.

8. I lived there for 8 years and the next thing I learned was to be a miner.

9. I wasn’t too successful till a dowser taught me how to dowse, but first he first put me on the gold trail and he was absolutely right.

10. At the end of that season during winter I learned how to do it by using it to mine using a sluice box and pan, which was a legal way to mine during the winter.

11. That spring I was dowsing a bank on the creek, while dowsing it, it did totally the opposite from anything that I experienced till then and it got me thinking because it pointed up with about 3 to 4 penny weight of gold on the end of the stick which was wrong.

12. It should have pointed down or fallen to the ground.

13. I couldn’t get it to repeat that action till the day I tried to pass the test in the JREF office, even though I failed the test I was amazed, it was the missing piece of that puzzle. What made it point up?

14. The other missing piece is what I didn’t know then, (why I failed their controlled test).

15. I went back in 2003-4 to see why and run tests with a dredge because of it’s speed and the fact that when I was mining and dowsing it was a success, not a failure.

16. Because the test while mining was a success, I applied too soon for another test.

17. But right about the time I figured out that the reaction could be measured which gave me a great chance at passing the double blind test they dropped me from the program.

18. Hence the SezMe test on Coffee creek, 90% there but not quit the whole test just a small demonstration.

19. The more you dowse the more electrical current you will feel till your hands get numb.

20. What ever these things are they demonstrate a physics that we haven’t a clue about.

21. Everyone knows that it is what we need possibly to travel like they do and it would be a powerful technology if true but it is what we need, besides out dated explosion technology.

22. Want to know more?

Edge, my point isn't dependent on their technology but ours. If these aliens with the uber-tech don't live in a star system within our local stellar cluster than they wouldn't be able to locate us unless we had considerably better technology than we currently have (think better than primitive warp drive and you'll be close).

That is my point, not whatever technology they may or may not have.

What like the Animus taps into 'genetic memory' in Assassin's Creed? Edge, that's just science fiction. Very bad science fiction at that.

Well, let's just hope the also developed the wisdom to use it correctly.

I have no idea of what those games are that everyone keeps talking about.
In yellow: We are still here so they have the power to get what they need without us.
There would be no need to rape our planet or kill us off, or at least so far.

Other posters have pointed out that there is no genetic bottleneck that is common for all land-based animals. Do you dismiss this counterevidence out of hand or do you have an explanation for why this fact should be discarded from your reasoning?

Well then science is slpit on that issue then?

Uh oh WARNING the archaeologicial discussion is slipping off the edge into the waste land known as METAPHYSICAL MENTAL MASTURBATION or M3 I suggest you flee (well except for those who like M3)

Well then science is split on that issue then?

The question mark is throwing me.

Are you asserting that science is split on the issue? If so then can you provide a peer-reviewed study that shows a common genetic bottleneck for all land-based animals within the past 40,000 years?

Are you asking if science is split on the issue? If so then the answer is no.

There is absolutely no scientific evidence that there was a world-wide flood creating a near-extinction event. None. Rumors of stories of passed-down myths is not evidence.

Göbekli Tepe is the oldest human-made place of worship yet discovered.

The question I have is,
If we cannot read or decipher the pictographic renderings, and there are no other "written" examples of what this site was used for or why it was built, Why do the authors and film makers assume the site was of religious import?

I find that to be an obvious argument from ignorance.

Say edge, if you're looking for lost structures under sea, why don't you start with the ones that do exist? There must be a Nehalennia temple somewhere under the Dutch waters. We also got a couple of completely submerged villages. :) Too easy?

So you're in fact looking for evidence of R'leh and Chtulhu? :D You are aware that Von Däniken's nonsense is a rehashed version of Lovecraft's fiction?

And the Lovecraftian lore still makes more sense than what Edge is posting here.

Edge, in case you are not familiar with his works Lovecraft was a late nineteenth century writer. His mythos dealt not with deities but with aliens of incomprehensible power and unfathomable motivation that have been worshiped here on Earth. The difference between those fictional beings and yours? Those fictional beings actually left undeniable traces of their existence. Like alien cadavers in one story.

And they gave us an RPG and a board game. They're fun, you should try them, edge!
with the added benefit you've less time to post this alien nonsense. :)

I know all about Lovecraft no telling where he got his motivation.
I don't play games and do not waste my time with them because there is a whole world out there of mysteries, which IMO is way more interesting.

So my little bright ones, anyone translate these yet?
Because these were in the shaft… and have been there since its, (the pyramids), beginnings.

There is graffiti in the pyramid. There are cave paintings far older than the pyramids,my dull little one. So what?

The one on the left says "I  Memphis", the one on the right says "Beware, High Voltage".

'Aberhaten's Pizza'

The Great Pyramid is actually a giant pizza oven.

Isn't it obvious?
