I'm actually considering running next time, on the grounds that clearly anybody can do it. I'd just dumb down my usual nonsense and ramp up the rudeness, and tell people what they want to hear whether it makes sense or not. I'm not interested in power, I'd just do it for the laughs. And that pension is pretty sweet, too, for just four years of work.

I'm going to try next time round too. And I'm not even American. However I do have a proven ancestral link back to Pocahontas of the Algonquian of some 13 generations. Given the double-backflip-with-pike reef-knots used to "justify" the validity of some candidates, that should be sufficient to make me a valid candidate too.

And I promise not only bacon for everyone, but unicorns and ponies for little girls too.
