So, Assad had his private eMail-account hacked and the files were leaked to the
Guardian, who published them today. Mostly trivialities, no secret holocaust planning, in fact so few dirt that ... well, it's a good example of how far the propaganda goes. Even the
Guardian tows the party line and makes stuff up.
Here, exclusive announcement of the publication.
Second sub-headline: "Leader made light of promised reforms".
In the text further down we read:
The Guardian said:
Assad made light of reforms he had promised in an attempt to defuse the crisis, referring to
"rubbish laws of parties, elections, media".
The link goes directly to the published eMail in question. As if they assume nobody will ever click on it. Well, I did, here is the full content:
Bashar al-Assad said:
This is the best reform any country can have that u told me where will you be, we are going to adopt it instead of the rubbish laws of parties, elections, media.......
So, "rubbish" is obviously what he calls the existing laws which he didn't invent when he came to power as a thirty-something medical doctor educated in "the West". Shame on you,
Guardian.
The distinction between Assad and the System which has to be reformed is made by many, many Syrians, impressivly demonstrated again today, by pro-Assad mass rallies all over the country, here for example in
Damascus and
Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the pathetic SNC who now "demands" military intervention from "the West", has lost
three more key members:
PressTV said:
[...] According to a Syrian National Council (SNC) official, Haitham al-Maleh, Kamal al-Labwani and rights activist Catherine al-Telli left the main opposition bloc due to their "disagreements" with the SNC.
Al-Labwani, however, said that they resigned because they did not want to be "accomplices to the massacre of the Syrian people.'' He also accused head of SNC Burhan Ghalioun of running the organization autocratically.
The SNC is "linked to foreign agendas which aim to prolong the battle while waiting ... for the country to be dragged into a civil war," said al-Labwani, adding that "There is no council, it's an illusion."
He also said that many more will quit the council in the coming days.
Al-Maleh said he was quitting over lack of cooperation in the council and al-Telli cited the SNC's "inefficiency" on "certain personalities and political trends" as the reason for her resignation. [...]
And before the Nazi-right starts the obligatory whining about the source: The quotes are from their facebook pages, the SNC has confirmed their resignment and "western" outlets
report the same.
The propaganda facade is crumbling more and more.
