Just in case anyone is at the coast, if you see the sea suddenly go out a long way, start running for the hills. If you do not do so then you are dead.

Come to think of it, why didn't Camping use that argument?

"Well, it isn't may 21st yet, because the rapture didn't happen".

Would have saved him a lot of embarrassing moments trying to explain that it "wasn't physical".
 
I just emailed the psychic asking for his thoughts on no tsunami hitting Texas yesterday. If I receive a reply, I will post of it here.
 
I can almost feel sorry for the poor guy. I'm sure he really believed in himself... must be tough when something you predicted so certainly does not happen.

Maybe we'll get the old "I'm only human and did not interpret the information correctly. The tsunami will *actually* hit TX on 11/11/11 at 11:11AM." (And if he really says that, I've now gone on record predicting it! :D)

If I recall correctly, He had written a contract stating that it will happen no matter what.

Of course, the "no matter what" didn't include "it not happening", so he has some leeway.
 
I think he's clearly got some serious mental health issues. Some psychics are deluded, but he's around the bend, poor guy.

I am curious as to what these five original human races are though. I would like to hear more about that aspect of his crazy.

I Googled, and the five human races is a Edgar Cayce thing. Oh.

I assumed he meant Black, White, Yellow, Brown and Red (Negro. Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic and AmerIndian).
 
I thought the five races of man would be:

The fifty-yard dash
The hundred-yard dash
The 440 hurdles
The mile
The marathon

But no amount of alternative history can write in one of those "races" any earlier than 500 years ago, you know? And he's on about original races with Adams and Eves. Just something to point out to him if the subject ever come up.
