Once, a few years ago, I found one of David Icke's books in the History section of a book store.

I took it to a clerk and said "you had this filed under "History. It is NOT.History."

She looked at it and showed me the book's spine, where it said, in small prinr, "Category: History".

I showed her the page in the book where it stated that George W. Bush and the Queen of England were shape-shifting reptilians from another dimension. "Do you still think it belongs in History?

She said that they have to file books where the publishers say they belong.

Yeesh.

I know I'm late to this particular post...but I laughed and then felt sad after I first read it! I have to respond now. This is really...sad.

To put THAT under History is just so ridiculous! So, does the publisher really get to say, or does the author have say? Both?

I mean, Robert, if you wrote a book about your Stop Sites, would it be filed under "New Age" or "Non-Fiction" or "Self-Help?" Would you even have a say?

Heh...Your targets would have it filed in the circular bin, I'm sure!

Can you imagine some poor student writing a History paper using that book as a reference?

If I end up writing any books about my Stopping endeavors, I would want them filed where they would most likely catch the eye of believers in the site's focus. A book about Stopping Sylvia filed next to HER books, a book about Stopping Kaz filed, I guess, in Religion.

I doubt the author has much say in it though. Other than whatever influence he or she has on which section the publisher recommends.

David Icke is always one of the "experts" on the History Channel shows about "Secret Societies." He presents the standard CT stuff about Freemasons, the Illumanati, Bilderburgers, and all the others. Having heard his complete routine elsewhere, you can almost see the History Channel edit just before he goes into how these Secret Societies are controlled by the Lizards. I guess that's just too far for the History Channel, for now.
