I found it with Google. It's a 'not sure' encounter. I think m/h = mobile home.
She also thinks there are multiple species or subspecies of Bigfoot.
Uhhh, Bitter Monk.... she has jaguarundis in Arkansas just like you say in Georgia. (BTW, Google will let you see members only areas of BFF.)
What is it with Bigfoot believers and their jaguarundis? And the guinea fowl is a squat monkey? Is it any wonder that skeptics are curious about what makes you folks tick inside the head? I swear this is ridiculous.
Painthorse on BFF said:I'm another "not sure". IMO, the "not sure" is the most frustrating situation. My "not sure" issues include< the heavy running footsteps, vocals ( screams, growl ) m/h getting hit on (could have been bats, but at one time it was hard enough to drop a picture off the wall) something down on all 4's (never saw the entire animal) chickens killed on multiple occasions ( could have been normal predators) 2 prints ( not normal, IMO) multiple arcs and markers (even though I'm not convinced these things make them, because no one has seen them in the act of doing it ). Again, the not knowing, for sure, leaves too many questions unanswered. Good thread BTW, allways wondered about others "not sure" situations.
As far as b/f, I have never had a "sure" encounter. But I find it interesting that Hairy Man suggests urine may be a better lure. A couple years ago when we were having "not sure" activity, not knowing what we had coming around, a friend suggested to my husband and me to "mark" our property. To urinate along the property lines. He said that dogs and wild animals would not cross over the "marked territory". Thinking back now, I think it actually made whatever it was more active. I awoke one early morning to the strongest, sickest, urine scent I had ever smelled. It was soo strong the odor made my eyes and nostrils burn. Never thought about the possibility that us "marking" the property to deter whatever it was from coming onto the property, may have been instead an invitation to visit. Doh. hmmmmmmmmmmm, time to start watering the fence line again.

Also, I've got to wonder if some of the large black cat sightings could be chalked up to jaguarundies (sp?). They are not supposed to be this far north but I've seen them twice, a lone one in Dec of 06 and another sighting last year of 5!!!! cross the road in front of me, the last one didn't cut into the woods but loped along the side of the road long enough for me to get a good look at it. These cats were "black", roughly 30-40 lbs with a long neck and body, thick legs and the tail was extremely long and thick. "Obviously" we have a breeding population here. If someone only caught a glimpse of one of these cats, I believe they could be very easily mistaken for a black panther or black jaguar.
