Simple question for Bigfoot enthusiasts: Why no unambiguous photos/videos?

I found it with Google. It's a 'not sure' encounter. I think m/h = mobile home.

I'm another "not sure". IMO, the "not sure" is the most frustrating situation. My "not sure" issues include< the heavy running footsteps, vocals ( screams, growl ) m/h getting hit on (could have been bats, but at one time it was hard enough to drop a picture off the wall) something down on all 4's (never saw the entire animal) chickens killed on multiple occasions ( could have been normal predators) 2 prints ( not normal, IMO) multiple arcs and markers (even though I'm not convinced these things make them, because no one has seen them in the act of doing it ). Again, the not knowing, for sure, leaves too many questions unanswered. Good thread BTW, allways wondered about others "not sure" situations.

As far as b/f, I have never had a "sure" encounter. But I find it interesting that Hairy Man suggests urine may be a better lure. A couple years ago when we were having "not sure" activity, not knowing what we had coming around, a friend suggested to my husband and me to "mark" our property. To urinate along the property lines. He said that dogs and wild animals would not cross over the "marked territory". Thinking back now, I think it actually made whatever it was more active. I awoke one early morning to the strongest, sickest, urine scent I had ever smelled. It was soo strong the odor made my eyes and nostrils burn. Never thought about the possibility that us "marking" the property to deter whatever it was from coming onto the property, may have been instead an invitation to visit. Doh. hmmmmmmmmmmm, time to start watering the fence line again.

She also thinks there are multiple species or subspecies of Bigfoot.

Uhhh, Bitter Monk.... she has jaguarundis in Arkansas just like you say in Georgia. (BTW, Google will let you see members only areas of BFF.)

Also, I've got to wonder if some of the large black cat sightings could be chalked up to jaguarundies (sp?). They are not supposed to be this far north but I've seen them twice, a lone one in Dec of 06 and another sighting last year of 5!!!! cross the road in front of me, the last one didn't cut into the woods but loped along the side of the road long enough for me to get a good look at it. These cats were "black", roughly 30-40 lbs with a long neck and body, thick legs and the tail was extremely long and thick. "Obviously" we have a breeding population here. If someone only caught a glimpse of one of these cats, I believe they could be very easily mistaken for a black panther or black jaguar.

What is it with Bigfoot believers and their jaguarundis? And the guinea fowl is a squat monkey? Is it any wonder that skeptics are curious about what makes you folks tick inside the head? I swear this is ridiculous.

So, is there were this woman starts getting insults? I hope not.

Cheers to the Bigfoot believers. Long live Funkytown.

Interesting feature of that trail-cam, that it only snaps Babyfeetus sitting down .

Even top shelf game cameras will have a slight delay. Lower end models (like the ones used here) can have game walk right by without ever triggering until the animal is out of the frame. This is the reason why trigger speed is one of the most vaunted features in game camera advertising.

Speaking from experience I've captured numerous photos of an animal center frame, with no photos preceding or following. Saying that there aren't any preceding photos somehow invalidates the photo is an inaccurate assumption.

This shouldn't be read as my endorsing this photo. Misunderstandings and misinformation about game cameras just happens to be a pet peeve of mine. ;)

It sounds like your expertise would come in handy, when engaging people who are compelled to pencil in simian features on the image of a bird, captured by a game camera..;)

I actually was asked by Paint to assist. She provided me with the original images. I did the best I could to resolve the matter. I provided her with the clearest image I could and gave her my analysis.

Thus ends my role in the story.

There's now a nice GIF animation of the 5-second-interval frames, clearly showing the guinea fowl walking away from its position in the first pic.

And the thread author is still insisting, "No, it doesn't fit. I know the difference between a bird and a primate," etc. ad nauseam.

Well that was unnecessarily snarky if it was directed at me. I've never treated you in such a manner.

FWIW analysis is the proper word in that context. Just because I have a southern accent doesn't mean I can't use the English language properly in its written form. ;)

Well, I took this as being ' snarky ' if not condescending towards me and my comments..

You seemed compelled to play your expert card, without having a clue about what I do, or do not know..

I apologize if I read you wrong ...

Well I apologize if you read wrong or I read wrong. Neither of us know much about the other, but I do know your argument (regarding the placement of the subject) is inaccurate.

For the record I also never claimed any type of expert status and you should at least know me well enough to know that's not how I roll. All I did was reference my own personal experience and knowledge gained from that experience.

I just felt you were a bit hasty in pointing out the shortcoming of my observation.

With the information presented by Vortigern99, it would seem my observation was not without merit..

That said, I apologize for being snarky..

Don't be bitter :D

Another Bigfoot Bullsh***er

According to him there was NO WAY those guys faked all of the tracks found up there. He agreed that the Wallace brothers were not even necessarily at the site during the times the most famous footprints were found, in 1958 and 1967, and many more tracks were found that have not been publicized.

He has agreed to do an interview with us sometime soon, on the record, regarding Bigfoot and the history of Bluff Creek, about which he knows apparently a LOT. He also confirmed to me that he KNOWS that Wallace didn't make those tracks, as he has seen them after Wallace died (he might have been talking about "Shorty" Wilbur Wallace there, not Ray Wallace).
