"SEND HER BACK!" Will they defend this?

You just can't find as egregious examples from any President other than Trump in the last 40 years at least.

Truth is, I think the poster we are talking about does not care about Trump being a racist, and the damage it does to the country, so long as he gets his Tax Cuts and his Overturn of Roe V Wade.

You can't support a bigot without being one.

Listening to the Stupid Bitch talk about whether or not he'd quiet the crowd if they did the chant again, I seriously thought about how much better the world would be if Trump's parents had different sexual appetites. Anyway, it's good they're both dead. It would be too awful for them to have to face what their spawn has become.

But you are, if you believe that telling people to leave is a reasonable answer to their attempts. Not liking what they're doing is not the same as pretending that they're not doing it. You may be right that some of Trump's statements are not as racist as some say, but the only problem is that if they're not, they're twice as stupid.

A lot of political rhetoric, especially negative rhetoric attacking political opponents, is incredibly stupid. I'm not one who feels the need to defend Trump from the charge of being stupid. I'm certainly not going to try to defend him from the charge of saying stupid stuff.

Based on what I've heard of his father, he'd be enormously pleased with it.

I can, and I do. Which is not to say that I necessarily believe that "go back where you came from" is always the same as "if you don't like it, leave". Maybe that was the argument you were trying to make?

I've mentioned this once. There is a huge difference between choosing to leave a nation you no longer like and telling others to do so.

I doubt it. He earnings are down across the board. The only properties where he makes money are places he goes to play golf. When he's not president who will want to stay there? The current members are just buying access to the president.

Trump's sperm donor likely never cared about politics, and the presidency is costing the Trump crime family money.

Assuming any of it is true. The article is surprisingly short on before and after photos of an emaciated young man who lost a pound a day for thirty days.

All of the photos, his clothes fit just fine. Either he was super on top of getting a new wardrobe for his new weight, or he's refused to let CBS publish any "after" photos. Which is a shame, because such photos would really sell the story.

I admit, all I have to go on are the classic "concentration camp" photos from the late 1940s, documenting the nutritional deprivation of the inmates.
So it's not enough that a US citizen teenager was arrested and held in atrocious conditions despite having had ID on him when he was arrested because he didn't look that thin to you?

Is his weight loss the thing that makes or breaks your concern?

Deflection is the primary tactic of Trump supporters. It’s really all they have left.

Seems like not traveling with undocumented people would go a long way towards solving that problem.

I'm biracial, with an obviously foreign last name. But although I've been detained by the police more than once in my life, I've never seen the inside of an immigration detention center. Probably because I didn't have an illegal family member in the car with me.

I wonder if I would have lost a pound a day.
Oh for pity's sake. Do you ask your friends if they are undocumented before you hang out with them?

And three weeks to clear up the kid's citizenship?

Are you looking for excuses here to blame the victim?

Don't you just love that small government conservatism?

I think he has stated he is primarily interested in backing someone whose presence in the Oval Office is figuratively "giving the finger" to the people he dislikes. Not the most rational way to pick a president, but that's where we are. :(
