Richard Gage at the AIA Convention

What a pile of unfounded slime.

People like Scott and every professional like him in the safety and building design and forensics trades will be prosecuted if they make a professional conclusion or recommendation that is found to be wrong or they are found to be lying.

Nobody in their right mind would bet their future on the ability of an estimated 80,000 people directly involved and a million eyewitnesses to all keep quite forever for the world biggest crime and criminal cover-up, especially when there is nothing that compels these professionals to lie instead of telling the truth.

I hope you can see the stupidity in these arguments.!

You are correct there is nothing to stop these professionals telling the truth, which is why there is almost negligible support for CD. Do you think that hundreds of thousands of interested professionals have not looked at the NIST reports and the CD theories? Of course they have. The best way for them to register their disagreement with the CD crackpots is to ignore them, which is what the sensible people have done. Anything else adds to their credibility.

However I agree it would be nice to prosecute professionals like Gage for deliberately spreading information that they know is untrue, but sadly thats not the way we work.

I'm quite sure if you dig deep enough, he's probably slandered NIST, FEMA, FDNY etc enough to have at least a defamation suit levelled at him.

Richard Gage's headlines from the convention was " We have a structural engineer who is also an architect stop by and sign our petition who has worked on 50 to 60 story buildings. "

Their petition numbers are stuck at 103 architects and 80 structural/civil engineers, and there is only one arch/engineer who has been a long time advocate of the CDtheory.

David Scott knows them all and vouches for all of them. Nice tidy faithbased blanket statement. He doesn't know anyone that believes CD could have been the cause. That's ridiculous on its face. They ALL KNOW it was demolition, but only 80 had the guts to say it. ASCE - Real brave fellows. Uh huh. Perhaps David Scott can run down a few of the projects his group is involved in. I wonder how many of them are city, state, and government related? Take a guess, bluesky.
1. You accuse -"David Scott knows them all and vouches for all of them. Nice tidy faithbased blanket statement, " -yet you immediately commit the same faithbased blanket statement error - "That's ridiculous on its face. They ALL KNOW it was demolition, but only 80 had the guts to say it. " Of course you don't know that.

2. Besides, David Scott does not say that "he knows them all and vouches for all of them." He says ... "I do not know anyone or organization in the Council that supports the controlled demoolition theory." A perfectly believable statement.

You distort what he says because your ability to reason is faulty, because you distort the facts when they contradict what you wish to believe, because you are a true believer.

3. "Perhaps David Scott can run down a few of the projects his group is involved in. I wonder how many of them are city, state, and government related? Take a guess, bluesky" No need to wonder, the answer is none.

His group is not "involved in any city, state, and government related" projects. If you had taken the time to research your statement you would
have discovered that "The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, based at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, is an international not-for-profit organization supported by architecture, engineering, planning, development and construction professionals, designed to facilitate exchanges among those involved in all aspects of the planning, design, construction and operation of tall buildings." , not government related. A networking educational association. In any case, most tall buildings are private, not public.

Three strikes.

You are an addlebrained thinker, a blind fanatic, and lack the judgement of a sane adult.

8 days after the end of the convention at which he supposedly signed up "about 50" Gage only claims to have 647 A & E, 6 (at best) more than the "over 640" he claimed to have April 23.

There still isn't a sign of the "structural engineer who is also an architect...who has worked on 50 to 60 story buildings" or " the AIA Chapter CEO in Virginia" whom he claimed to sign up.

One note about the latter, John W. Braymer, Ph.D.* he doesn't seem to an architect.

- He is an "honorary"* member of the AIA.

- No one with his last name is licensed to do anything in Virgina**

- A local paper reported, "Before his work with the VSAIA and the Virginia Foundation for Architecture, Dr. Braymer served as a Senior Legislative Analyst with Virginia's General Assembly and was Assistant Professor of English at the University of Richmond." ***

Their petition numbers are stuck at 103 architects and 80 structural/civil engineers,

He has only 9 US structural engineers (8 licensed) none seem to have worked on anything more than 2 - 3 stories tall or read the NIST report.

and there is only one arch/engineer who has been a long time advocate of the CDtheory

That guy is Gage's boss he is in his 80's and his son described him as an architect and he works for an architecture firm which seem to indicate he didn't work as an engineer.

We had structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers as well as architects (and a few interior designers) at my last architecture firm. Sometimes it's nice to have those specialties in-house. Similarly, I've known architects who have worked for engineering firms, interior design firms, general construction contractors, property developers, etc.

Sometimes I read in amazement the apex of anxiety being displayed by the faithbased crowd. They can change their stories, they can make up cutesy baby languages, but they rarely change their tune.

Such is life at JREF.

You claimed that scientists aren't challenging the official story because they "don't have the guts".

Do you stand by this statement? Yes or no.

The decline at 9-11 Blogger has continued, although there has been an uptick lately compared to earlier in the year.

Here are the estimated "uniques" for 2009:

1/09 106,557
2/09 106,577
3/09 125,000 *
4/09 164,426

* (Estimated: Actual traffic per sitemeter was 108,000, but I know they turned their sitemeter off for a few days due to page load problems)

The comparable months for 2008 were higher:

1/08 214,797
2/08 188,096
3/08 200,000
4/08 194,401

Overall that's a 37% drop from 2008, and when you look at 2007 you see how dramatic the bleeding has been:

1/07 183,664
2/07 200,708
3/07 265,002
4/07 319,292

If I were shedding pounds like 9-11 Blogger is shedding readers I would be a happy man indeed. I have stats on their traffic going back to June 2006 and the two months of 106,000 in January and February are the lowest months I've seen.

The higher April 2009 number must be due to the "nano-thermite" paper by Jones, Harrit et.al.

Well. looks like Dick Gage is looking for a substantial about of money to attend more conferences... Anders... you diggin deep?

"help expand our SF-AIA success with more AE conventions, tours and 'ACTIONS' "

is tricky dicky going to do some more cardboard box tricks?
his best trick is how he makes truther donations disappear without a trace.

$115k :D That is totally absurd!

They have barely managed to collect less than $10k in the recent couple of months. $115k? N.E.V.E.R. When will they learn to set realistic goals? That was a trick question, of course.

The ae911truth is in a terminal tail spin and as their numbers decrease we can expect to see even wilder claims to desperately keep in the limelight

People will desperately fight to protect their livelihood and Richard Gage is no different to your average failed architect who has hit unbelieveable fame and fortune with his lies and deception. He will not go quietly

the videos in the OP have no audio now

so i was looking at others

that idiot brought thermite into the convention (or so he claims)
i wonder how the fire marshal would feel if they knew that a haz-mat was brought into the building in a tupperware container lol

Uhh, what? It sure looks to me like AE911Truth membership has been steadily increasing for quite some time. How many members did they have before this "terminal tail spin" started?

Their criteria for "engineer" is so broad that they would let me in and to the extent that my professional work makes me one, it is for expertise that has nothing to do with structures or demolition.

People that break down the skills of the members of AE911Truth see lots of people like me, computer programmers, sometimes called "software engineers", a title that, IMO, 99% of the working programmers don't deserve.
