Umm, no, that's not the question. They represent themselves as a group of Architects & Engineers who support a new 9/11 investigation. You can question their expertise all you want, but they're not claiming to be an organization full of high-rise building experts.

There is only one way for the ae9111truth numbers to go and that is to increase. They dont have a system to withdraw support. so they will increase for the next 10 years, bu they are still such a minor and irrelevant minority, compared to the hunderds of thousand that that think they are irrelevant.

When they get an engineer that is in the top 1,000 tall building designers then they will start to get momentum, but I doubt it will ever happe

Well, I've personally seen their verified membership drop by as many as 10-15 engineers at a time. So tell me.. how exactly did you determine that they don't have a system to withdraw support? Have you been in touch with a current "supporter" whose request to be removed was explicitly denied?

I don't really care if you give him any credibility. He's a verified engineer (structural), and he supports a new investigation. That makes him eligible to sign the petition.

I don't think membership's the focus people should be putting emphasis on personally. The content of their presentations do the work of downing their credibility. The numbers are -- to me -- only a sign of who joined either half heartedly or are entirely incompetent in the specific field which they're dealing with here. Bragging about their numbers is like arguing that the popularity of a subject determines how true or false a claim is. When it gets down to the bare bones, it's the content of their claims which create or destroy their merit, and none of their presentations to date have impressed me. They're non-technical, incomplete, or malpractice -- the signs are everywhere from their precedent study work, to their collapse analysis. Their membership numbers probably are an indication of their lack of merit but I'd caution anyone from using the numbers as a platform because it has less importance than what they demonstrate in the known architectural and engineering standards

So you're working under the assumption that every architect/engineer who joins is incompetent, as long as he or she did not join half-heartedly. Under no circumstances can a competent architect/engineer ever disagree with you - right?

On a side note, I just requested AE911Truth's form 990 from 2008. We should be able to see how much these scumbags are profiting off of people's donations.
