PS Audio Noise Harvester

You aren't interested in better sound? It all makes sense now.

Oh boy, I am interested in the sound of a Del Gesu under my hands and chin, in the sound of Perlman playing SaintSans or Mozart or Sibelius, Kremer in concert, Gulda playing Bach....

I am interested in _music_, not in woo.

Get a clue, boy, get a clue

No, nothing you have said makes any sense.

Paul

:) :) :)

Go read some real books on the subject and then come back to us.
I rather spend my time finding the truth on my own than spend it reading and getting brainwashed from flawed books.

It's not hard to see how brainwashed the skeptics are in this forum. It's so deep that they don't even know it themselves. Most of them will never know the truth. Some of them will plug in the Harvester when they are 100 years old, then they hear the huge improvement and they die from shock before being able to tell others about it.

People who are interested in music are those who cover up all the flaws with vacuum tubes and use their own imagination instead. It's similiar to skeptics who like to cover up the truth because they don't like it...

I rather hear all that is on the recording than cover it up just because I don't like it. I also like to open up myself to the truth instead of ignore it like a narrow-minded skeptic. Unlike skeptics I don't have any imagination of my own, I see what is there and nothing else. It's not hard to figure out who are having the real placebo.

Bull. No tubes, transistors, opamps, speakers involved when I have a violin under the ear or listen to a life concert. And between the real thing and a recording there are worlds.

Ever been in a life concert?

Everything that you have posted shows that you have already brainwashed yourself and are very flawed. The only truth you have found is your misunderstanding of how things work. You will not read, so how are you to know what is in the books. When it comes to books and knowledge of others you are prejudges. When EternalSceptic wrote that he likes to listen to live music, you go off on a rant on what you think he wrote without reading what he really wrote, you are prejudges and show that your are very ignorant, you sound very much like a young American Republican.

If the skeptics in this thread are the result of those books, then I know what is written inside them.

PS Audio Noise Harvester improves the audio system, it doesn't improve real life.

Most of us are, although probably not to your extent.

Another difference is, some of us actually know what we are talking about. We don't just blunder along, like you.

Since books are written by people, and we assume you are a person and are writing here on this forum, so by using your so-called logic, we shouldn't be reading your words and lies. Also that toy you refer to does not improve any audio system.

If you are not interestd in music, then why does sound reproduction matter at all?

Unlike skeptics I don't have any imagination of my own, I see what is there and nothing else.

Unlike what you think, you have a strong imagination of your own. And it's playing big tricks on you ;).

It's not hard to figure out who are having the real placebo.

Noooo, it isn't. It is someone who believes in lies from people who make money from useless audio tricks. Someone who knows nothing of sound reproduction tecknology. Someone who isn't even interested in music. Someone who lives in a small crappy room, filled up with useless gadgets.

Someone......

You don't even know what the skeptics stand for, much less the books.

The second part is right, congratulations. Question is, do you really know what "real life" is?

Real life doesn't sound as good as the audio system because there are reflections all over the place, everything blends together and together it can only show one size of the listening room. With the audio system you can layer each sound on top of each other and you can hear multiple room sizes at once.

The shorter the soundwaves need to travel the more accurate the sound is, that's why I use headphones, because they don't add any colorations from the listening room.

You probably haven't heard of acoustic foam. But then why would you want to know about anything that actually has a scientific basis behind it.

So you are saying the recording of a concert sounds better that the real concert itself?

Man, you have no clue whatsoever. Are you aware of the fact that good musicians adjust their way of playing to the rooms properties, that making music is always (if done properly) an interaction between the musicians intellect and mood, the properties of the place where she/he plays (not only acoustically, everything plays a role), the mood and reaction of the audience, the properties of the instrument he/she plays and.. and..

And it is an interaction which works in both directions.

But you can, of course, find your satisfaction as well using a couple of wave generators and playing around with frequencies and waveforms. Just don't expect _me_ to enjoy that.

So we now should look at things thru a camera and not be there in real life because there are all kinds of other things going on that have nothing to do with what we are looking at, and also in the real world SH-T doesn't just look bad, it stinks.

You just like to contradict yourself don’t you. By the way, I haven't used anything with vacuum tubes many years before you where born for audio.

I know I'm going to regret asking this, but...
  1. What is the process you use to "find the truth"? Does it bear any relevance to how mankind's knowledge has progressed in the last 1000 years or so?
  2. I assume that not all books are "flawed". What is the criterion you use to determine if a specific book is?
  3. Is your opinion on any one topic the only one in the world that is right, regardless of the knowledge of others?
