well you have a point there. I mean what public defender would want to provide evidence that his/her client, who is accused of the biggest crime in america's history btw, is innocent? After all how would they turn getting ksm found innocent into anything useful as far as a legal career goes.

Not to mention the absolute pointlessness of such a high profile event causing mainstream america to start questioning 9/11 (if he didn't do it who did!?!?!?) thus validating the truth movement and likely getting that new investigation. Nah... That would mean you would have to do something as arduous as send an email and you'd have to care about the 3,000+ who died on 9/11, the thousands who have died in the events since then, the constitution, hell justice in general...

They might drop a few alleged overt acts because the rules of evidence are pretty lax in military court.

Otherwise it will be the same, they will list pretty much the same overt acts as in the military charge sheet.

When the new indictment comes out, we will put out a statement if anything changes.

The more the jury knows about the identities of the 19 alleged hijackers (besides the stuff the feds say in press releases), the more difficult to picture them committing a heinous crime.

I might expect that if I presumed Atta guilty. But in other places, the government claims Atta made a "martyr will". So if Atta is not afraid to make a "martyr will", then why not just email his will?
