LOL! Faith-based plumbing.
Doonesbury did a great strip on this character on Sunday.
Odd how an unlicensed plumber, who's name isn't Joe, who isn't planning to start a business, doesn't make anything near $250k, and would seem to actually benefit from Obama's proposed tax plan, is not only proclaiming the US progressive tax system as socialist, but is now finds his opinion on foreign policy of value to the campaign of John McCain.
Taken to task over his statement about Obama's danger to the existence of Israel, on Fox News no less, he manages to wiggle around even when confronted with contrary evidence by the newscaster.
Joe the Plumber. Spokesman for John McCain. Is there any wonder why McCain is thought to be flailing? I suppose there's something else he could fall back on:
I dunno. Does he know anything about Arabian horses?Okay, watch you guys. You could be bad-mouthing the next FEMA Director.
He did that strip before anyone had ever heard of Joe the Plumber. (I wondered why the plumber didn't look like Joe).
As someone who goes by his middle name myself, this is a silly accusation.who's name isn't Joe,

"Joe's with us today. Joe, where are you? Where's Joe? Is Joe here with us today? Joe, I thought you were here today," McCain said during the rally.
McCain aides had said that Joe Wurzelbacher, also known as Joe the Plumber, would appear with the Republican presidential candidate at his event in Defiance.
But reached at home, Wurzelbacher said it was "news to him" that he was supposed to be at the McCain rally. Wurzelbacher said nobody from the McCain campaign confirmed he was attending the event and called the incident a "miscommunication."

A progressive tax system is socialist, regardless of whether it's good or not, and regardless of whether the opinion-maker is a billionaire or dirt grindingly poor.
Does it shock you that someone who isn't Steve Forbes doesn't countenance a worldview that the rich got that way by being skinflint misers and cheaters who take advantage of the common man, thus deserving their punitive high taxes that assuage the egos of the hoi polloi and elect the politicians who spout it?
Does it bother you that someone who isn't Warren Buffet actually has a sense of propriety, and doesn't jump onto the Democrat bandwagon because they'll get some from the taxation of the rich?

So what you're saying is McCain/Palin support socialism, correct, or at least support it as much as Obama/Biden?A progressive tax system is socialist....
Me too, for the same reasons I did with Cindy Sheehan, although she got what, 4 years of fame from her antics? We might be seeing Joe around for a while to come.
Ok, I was in Crawford, TX back in '05, with Cindy. Sure she had her moments, but she actually lost her son in Iraq. She wasn't lying about anything, she was mad at Bush, and she let it be known.
"Joe the Plumber" is nothing but an opportunist...oh, and a ******* liar.
The comparison holds no water.
"Joe, where are you? Is Joe here with us today? Joe, I thought you were here today."
McCain continues his pandering to the confused, senile and elderly vote.

Left wing yes socialist no. A socialist system requires a significant degree of nationalisation.
Looks like Joe left him hanging too, and nobody thought to tell McCain.
from the link said:Move over, Sanjaya, and tell William Hung the news: Joe the Plumber is being pursued for a major record deal and could come out with a country album as early as Inauguration Day.
