As far as I am aware, Australia has had no Jewish Prime Ministers.

Bob Hawke is the son of a Protestant minister (according to wikipedia) and appears to be an agnostic according to the quotes I have read.

John Howard was born Methodist but I believe he switched to the Anglican Church (Episcopals) and Robert Menzies ancestors were proudly Scottish (so I suspect he was Presbyterian).

Bob Hawke and John Howard were strong supporters of Israel and I believe Menzies was Prime Minister when Israel was founded and Australia was one of the earlier countries to recognise Israel (no links it is late). If they do have forests named after them, this would be why.

Do you have any evidence for this? Australia was no less tolerant of Jewish people than England, so I would be surprised if English migrants felt it necessary to change their identity on arrival in Australia.

I suspect you mean Israeli citizenship. I was not aware that he had honourary citizenship of Israel but I suspect you do not have to be Jewish to recieve that honour.

As to wearing the skull cap, it is not always a sign that the person is Jewish. I was asked to wear a cap during part of a Friday night dinner at a Jewish friend's house even though I am not Jewish. I suspect it is a sign of respect similar to the way we would expect women not to wear bikinis when visiting a church; even if they are not Christians. An actual Jewish person could explain further.

You may have a point there, consider the black people that blame all their failures on things white people did to their ancestors.

As long as we keep in mind that some of their failures are because of that (if your grandparents couldn't get a job they were trained for , they lack the contacts to get that kind of job for their children - slows down the process a lot - even over time.).
