Whoops, I was wrong, there is a link on their site. The seakitten.com site takes the Peta.org site and adds the banner.
We had some fun with this on the Grauniad website:

Must be off now, got to fetch the kittens and chips.
If you go to the Create Your Own Sea Kitten Game one of the options is to put lipstick on the fish.
A PETA game in which you put lipstick on animals?????
Althought the best related quote from my college years, was a friend dealing with the local annoying Peta Freak. She was giving him grief for choosing the veal in the dining hall, pontificating about how the poor little cows are tortured to make tender veal. My friend's response: "I'm all for torturing animals, especially if it makes them taste better." To everybody's delight, she elected not to join us for dinner that evening.

As long as the lipstick contains only vegetable components or ones extracted from humans and is not tested on animals, why not?A PETA game in which you put lipstick on animals?????
You sound surprised.
I've decided to rebrand tree fruit as 'sky puppies' and root vegetables as 'earth gerbils'. You wouldn't eat a puppy or a gerbil would you?
PETA's made the news twice this week. That means, per my e-mail promise to them, I have two veal dinners to eat before Sunday.![]()
Hehe, I thought it was a great bit of juxtaposition.I think this is the proper website:
http://www.peta.org/sea_kittens/
The other one seems to be a mirror site and I think it may not be legitimate (given the advertising on it).
I think they are fish wearing cat skins from actual skinned cats. There must have been a fight over them, as some fish could manage only to secure certain parts, like paws, or ears, or noses. One fishie got himself an entire dead cat to wear, though, how lucky! Ok, maybe not so much for the cat...
Lonewulf, I just joined recently, and saw your posts. Are you by chance, kittymother, AKA AH?
