Bullcrap.

Just proves to show these people think this is some dumb game.

Of course it's easy for them to be "convinced", and be enlightened.

I used to think it was "plausible" that controlled demolition happened, but I didn't go around internet forums, or conversations with my peers, telling them "Oh youre wrong. That can't be right. I'm right!" I researched what I believed, THAN I came to my conclusion that I was stoopid for reading a poorly reviewed non-scientific paper. THAN and ranted and raved and whatever'ed.


Keep him banned.


In the MMO role-playing game world, this is what we called "Knifed", simply switching sides cause it seems more fun. But it's a far stretch to treat the conspiracy nutter movement as some "game". Real History is what's at stake here after all.
 
Pdoh was most recently - Wizard, wasn't he and/or she?

Wizard replied to me in a thread that he and/or she didn't believe Flight 93 was shot down!!! When he and/or she had been arguing that very point! Yay!

I say let him and/or her back in!!! But he and/or she has to come in using a rather humbling forum name, something like Groveling Former Dunce or Okay I Was Stupid or Lotta Love For Left Brain or...

No; he shows no decorum or respect of the forum rules. There is no reason to believe that this is linked to any other beliefs, e.g. 911 "truth"..

He might well be just as nasty to the 911 nuts as he was to us, and (tempting though it is) there's no place for that here.

He still has an account at LC, let him take his new found beliefs there.

I look forward to the day he announces he has seen the light and argues down his former allies over there.

So, technically he wasn't banned due to his breach of forum rules, only suspended. Not sure if that would make a difference.

circumventing a suspensions IS a breach of the rules.
His opinions had nothing to do with his banning, he was held to the same rules as everyone else, there is no way that he should get extra privileges because he's now on "our side", that would be the kind of discriminatory modding which e all see and detest on the LC boards, it's not the way things are run by the mods here, and I hope we keep it that way.

Could we unban him for a short period, to see if he's willing to come clean and post a mea culpa? And then actually change his tone? Sort of a probationary period. Even actual criminals can get parole, why not someone who would be willing to admit he was wrong?
