Germany had the atomic bomb first

I refuse to believe that any sane person could not follow such a simple thought to its conclusion.

Yes, I think MaGZ is probably sane.

Sane? Actually, yes. But honest? That, my friend, is the real question. I don't think MaGZ has it in him to be honest with himself, or about the facts.

Nearly everyone who posted on this thread recognized where this could have led if it were true. Hitler and his crew would not have hesitated in using an atomic bomb, regardless of the location. At the very least, such a weapon could have led to a stalemate, if not providing a chance for victory for Germany. Hell, he'd have set it off over Berlin in the final days of the war, even if it meant the death of the last few troops defending his bunker, if for no other reason than it would bloody the noses of the allies one more time.

We see this, we know this. Common sense prevails.

Hitler did not have the Atomic Bomb. He might have gotten closer, but that doesn't mean he had something that would have worked. MaGZ's assertions demonstrate his patent dishonesty in the whole discussion, and how it's a waste to debate him, save for the few on the fringe who ally themselves with him, yet can be reasoned with.

And the claim that Germany had the A-bomb first will still be a steaming pile of bullflop.

I watched that show on the Military Channel yesterday. I did not find it particularly convincing. A couple of witnesses who were children at the time.... Some residual radiation from a site where they were evidently building a "pile" of rather simple design...

I'm glad he didn't have the bomb. Else we probably would have to visit the Berlin crater instead of the Reichstag.

If Germany had made the bomb first, the U.S. Government would have made that known if for nothing else than to show that we did need to make one too and it wasn't a waste of money and time.
