Split Thread Epstein murdered

Damn right. This is what history buffs call, "History in the making." Live in the moment, once in a while.
Appeal to emotion, once in a while.

Let's be clear: You're emotionally invested in Trump and/or Elon being implicated in this or that heinous crime. To the point that you get excited about any and every unsupported allegation of the same.

I'm not sure serious history buffs would appreciate your nonsensical appeals to their authority.

Which crime are we talking about? Epstein's untimely death, or the human trafficking/child sex ring thing? Both of these idiots have been to Epstein's island, and Donny T was a regular at Jeffrey's townhouse parties. This is already widely known. I have no dog in this fight beyond to the rule of law, and getting the facts out into public view. As with any crime on this scale there will be nuances, and degrees of guilt by second parties, and it's possible that neither one committed an illegal act, just immoral, which is not against the law.

But this spat if F-ing hilarious.

Being a skeptic does not mean being incredulous of the blue sky. And there is nothing wrong about having some emotions when the current ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ has been brought upon us by a manipulated electorate that is largely oblivious to critical thinking. I wonder how many Trump supporters really took a good hard look at the countess videos and photos of Trump frolicking with his best friend Jeff. Given the enormous harm this megalomaniac has caused our nation, I feel perfectly justified holding out some hope that the crows come home to roost.

Keep defending him.

i’ll ask because you guys would know.

is there a name for a “just being a hater” fallacy? like, yeah i do want to see them go down. they’re the bad guys and have done a bunch of bad things, and the facts are still the facts regardless how anyone feels about them. to me that’s normal.

It is normal! And I don't know if it has a fallacy name, but it is the most common tactic used by narcissists like Trump and his ilk--it is classic gaslighting--pretend that you are the real victim and accuse your accuser of being a bad person, by introducing 'alternative' facts that they want you to accept as reality.

It’s the fight that’s interesting.
Epstein probably just offed himself. Jails are staffed by underpaid people who give zero ◊◊◊◊◊ about inmates. Nothing works right, so cameras being out sounds normal, and no, the guard on duty had zero ◊◊◊◊◊ to give about staring at a screen for hours because a prisoner might try to hurt themselves.

Ad hom.

And poisoning the well.

Both very popular fallacies.

And poisoning the well.
I aint poisoning anything that already wasn't poisoned. And I am not arguing anything, just categorizing the "hater" retort when used by Trumpists, it is classic gaslighting--we hear it all the time from people within the cult; their most common way of putting down genuine complaints about the lunatic in charge by responding "You have TDS!" when it is blatantly obvious to anyone outside of the cult that the only deranged individuals are the pedophile leader and those who worship his lunacy.

well it's a youtuber commentator video, but lays out clips of kash patel on rogan saying the exact opposite on epstein on what he was saying before becoming fbi director and joe rogan sucking his balls like he always does these days. and these are the conspiracy theorists, with this falling in their lap and the power to expose it, and they let their politics get in the way. what a disappointment. but they always are.
